Thanks, Tesco £6. They're realy good wipers too.
I'm either getting new ones or the current ones PC'd. They've just glazed over a bit. I'm going to try getting them pc'd 1st are new ones will cost £130.
I love the look of it too, thats why I went for one over a ph2 despite the ph2's...
If you got one with Recaros I doubt you woul have any trouble selling them. It may be a little while untill used ones become available so you'll have a bit longer left with the Cup.
I personally think the Clio 200 is a bargin. I agree with theduck. Its a brand new car, its the fastest of the RS Clio's (according to Evo's stats), handles the best and has plenty of luxuries.
I've not driven one, although I plan on it, AC St Helens have one in LY. I'm sure when I drive it...
Well i've had the 172 for just over a week now and this is the 1st chance i've had to give it a scrub up and get some pics.
So far i'm loving driving it and the mods so far are:
PH2 Rear lights
Silvertecs front and rear
Flat wipers
Ktec stealth
My to do list so far is...
I got some from tesco for the ph1. They fitted ok, except I didn't clip one in properly and promptly found out on a big motorway roundabout in the pissing rain when it came off. Luckily it landed in the space between the screen and bonnet and I put it back on in a bus stop.
Basically just...
Because they use Williams front calipers on the non RS ph2 Clio's. They're good stoppers, haven't realy noticed the brakes are much better on my 172, I try and avoid braking hard anyway though when pressing on I prefare to be smooth rather than outright fast, no need for over using the brakes on...
I agree. I'd rather throw 4K at my 172 and get 250bhp and 200lbft than 3K at it and only get 200ish bhp and 160ish lbft.
Depends what your after though, itb's sound awsome and keep the car natually aspiratated but personally i'd go SC. Rather itb's than a turbo though.
Your right, not many things provide as much pace as a 172 for the price they are. I got my ph1 for 2.4K and its in good nick, its pretty quick and cheap to run.
Not a fan of the Corsa VXR's though, if I was going for a turbo'd hatch it would be an R26. The VXR's are very tunable though.
Nice. Great decision with the dci. I stand by my comment that i'd never buy another non RS Clio in petrol. Infact i'd never buy any petrol car that wasn't a performance orientated model.
