You'll always lose a bit of fluid when you disconnect the hoses . Put some cling film over the brake fluid reservoir and screw the cap back on tight . Bleed through " without " the engine running .
Like Sam says . Selling private is the only way you'll get anywhere near it's true market value . At the moment the market for 182's is a little bit stagnant as there seems an abundance of them for sale . Thats also another reason why a dealer will offer you well under market value as he knows...
I'd steer clear of the apollo if i was you . It lost power on my 182 . Halfords sell the bmc , its cheaper than the bmc carbon ones but with the same filter inside ...
Lol at the new seat belts . APC for me or autoglym interior shampoo if they aren't too heavily soiled . Use a Meguiars Foaming Sprayer , let it dwell or agigate it with your fingers , wipe it off with a damp microfibre cloth ...
It always amazes me how people are shocked when they are offered 1000's less than they paid for their cars 1 or 2 years down the line . The fact is it's a tin box that costs money to run , repair etc ... Newer models come out which " can " affect the price of older models . If your gonna part ex...
You sure you need an allen key ? On mine iirc its 2 18mm bolts for the whole caliper and you need a 13 and 17mm spanner to separate the caliper and the brake pad mounting brackets . Personally i'd paint them off the car as it's easier .
There are good local garages and bad local garages ;) So if thats there diagnosis , what is their remedy ? Or don't they know ?? I very much doubt it's your brakes .
If the discs are any good then thats a good price if they are crap then you've wasted your money . Plus you'll need new bearings and abs rings for the rears . Personally i'd rather go with names you can trust that have been tried and tested .
He's been on AOL for a couple of years , he's not one of those people who shop about for better deals and he's only an occasional user on the net. Its more for his kids use .
My mate at work phoned AOL to tell them he was changing to Orange cos of the free laptop offer . They said they'd match that and send him a dell laptop if he stayed on AOL .
I'd like to know which Renault dealers will service my car for £150 parts and labour ?? I have to be willing to travel as i don't have any dealer that is local to me , hence the need for a courtesy car .
The Renault diamond is located with 4 lugs and , inside the diamond there are 4 tiny little lugs that stop the diamond coming loose .Like clio luke says , you'll have to take the whole mechanism off . Have a look in a haynes manual if your unsure .
I've just rung round a few Renault dealers for my 182's 12k service
Cheapest was £195 - no courtesy car available which i need , £202 and £220 . Supplying my own oil only drops the price by £20 .I'd prefer to have it serviced at Renault while it's still under warrenty in case they find any...

Yeah black will be ok . Depends if you want to show your calipers off though through the turinis . Even though the red's lighter it'll still look good on your flame red imo .
The adjuster screw inside the caliper turns , the piston is prevented from turning by the lugs on the brake pad therefore pushing the piston forwards .There are 5 sprung washers inside the caliper pulling the adjuster screw back when you release the handrake .
The piston is on a threaded adjuster screw inside the caliper so pushes onto your brake pads when you apply the brakes or handbrake .If it wasn't on a screw , when you apply the handbrake it would always be pressing on you brake pads when you released the handbrake so your handbrake would always...
