    Brake fluid

If your brake fluids quite low , either you have a leak , your discs could be worn or your brake pads are getting low . I'd be inclined to think the latter . You can top it up but after checking your pads / discs i'd do a full bleed like legohead says .

    Dings and dents!!

Seems like an average price is around £30ish per panel , but less is you have a few panels . The guy i used took out 2 in the roof , 1 on the drivers door and 1 on the rear passenger quarter panel all for £60 .

    Dings and dents!!

Depends where the dent is . If you don't know what your doing , even with the right tool(s) you can end up making it worse or even crack the paint . Like i said once before in another thread . I took out a dent on a rear quarter panel with a decorators seam roller , but it was easy to access...

Could 17" Alloys affect the speedometer reading??

Of course it affects it . Any deviation from the standard wheel / tyre size will give an inaccurate speedometer reading . Check this out : http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp

    172 Sport Standard Exhaust System

Thats what i was led to believe also . When i had my 172 i went to the local ATS and they told me they had to get it from Renault . That was about 3 years ago though . Maybe there are some manufacturers of replacement 172 exhausts now ?

    aerials

The civic aerials aren't a perfect fit . The base of the aerial is slightly wider than the fitting on the roof , so it slightly overhangs .

    spraying poor

Just wet sand it again with some fine wet n dry , some 1000 grit will be ok . You won't need to remove the lacquer , just reapply the colour coat again . Good long even strokes and the colour coat should go on ok . Don't apply lacquer until your happy with the colour coat .

'Maximum Chassis Height' on trolley jacks.

Looking at that i assume it means how high the car is from the ground that is to be lifted before the jack is placed underneath . Sounds a bit strange i know but thats how it reads . A 2 tonne jack will be more than adequate for a clio . Lifting gear that is rated to 2 tonnes is usually...
