They are capless bulbs i.e. they don't have a metal base. These bulbs are just a push fit connection. So just pull on the bulb and the thin part of the bulb at the bottom will come out of the bulb holder.
So this is a week on Saturday. Anyone else interested?

1.The thing everyone seems to forget is that tyre weld is extremely limited to what it can do. If you have a blow out and you've removed your spare, you'll be paying a fortune because your breakdown company won't cover you.
2. You need the jack to lift the punctured tyre off the ground before...
The first two faults sound like it's a permanent live fault. The clock should have a permanent live feed to allow it to remember the time and the lights should also have one to work when you first open the doors.

I just remember trying to look at where that laser pen was pointing and then falling over the chair. Got no idea who saw it happen.
If you've got a multimeter, then test for voltage, continuity and resistance in the wiring. If you haven't then swap all of the components from the working side over to the non working side*. If it then works, swap over one component at a time until it stops working. This is then your faulty...
Nowhere in the OP did you state the fact it happens as soon as you start the engine. My reply was advice on how to deal with an intermittent fault, which I believed this was, if it occurred as you were driving to a place of repair.
But surely if you were expecting to brake for a corner, you were more than likely going to change down a gear anyway so was prepared to dip the clutch? If it happens again, dip the clutch, let it rev the tits off the engine while you brake and steer to a safe place, then turn the engine off.
I'll book at Chiquitos. Will be at 7 if that's ok with everyone? Could do the standard CS thing and find a well lit car park for some pictures afterwards if people wanted to on the night.
Corby G it's a shame you can't make it this time.

We'll leave that out of the next one. I still don't understand why someone would want, let alone own, a chair that means you have to sit on the floor anyway?!

That's a relief. Someone else can have the nervous drive back from the hospital with PC Dave in the passenger seat this year!
Was speaking to that PC Angus Nairn about that and commented on how everyone was totally ignoring the BMW i3 and he was singing it's praises.
Apparently they've never had as much attention as they have now they've got the Mclaren.
Have to say I was disappointed that there was no modern F1 cars in the live action arena. Was hoping there would of been at least one doing a demo run or even just a slow lap round the track with a few blips of the throttle.
