Yes, the filter can be changed, it is by the tank.
Interestingly, my first Ph1 had it's original service book which had no meantion of chinging the fuel filter, but I ran out of stamp boxes so ordered another genuine one from Renault and in that one it stated the fuel filter was to be...
In Sharkeys Trophy at Llandow was great fun - yes it has itb's, though as we now know on what is still a poorly engine, I believe the brakes are uprated, but as far as i am aware the rest of the car was standard - and it was brilliant fun, grippy enough to carry a bit of speed, and not grippy...

Only downside are the T1R's - coming from experience they are ok on track a 6-7/10ths but any more than that and they are useless

TBH it will always be Mikes in a way, this just means he can still drive it, just doesn't have to pay for it lol

First thing first, pop the inlet pipe off the tb, turn on the ignition and press the throttle - check the tb is moving, just no take that out the equiasion.
If it is reving iself it has to be a sensor issue - normally id say air is getting in somewhere (Which can cause high idle/revving) but...

LOL! tbh as far as I can see (Having known the car) I'm confindent the map is good - it will be checked out once it's on the road mind, but the heads coming off to start with and I will see what it looks like - direct to be taken will be decided then :)
