It wasn't the fact you had it, it's more the fact it is held to that bar by cable ties - In an accident if you are hit it the back/rear sides that bar will be ripped out and the canister will come off - in a heavy impact it would come off the cable ties anyway - why don't you look somewhere were...
As said, the new oil won't effect the dephaser as it will already be worn, and as you are only a few weeks away from the cams being fitted, just let TDF change the oil
Yes the map will help that flatspot mate, though iv read it doesnt full cure it.
Best thing i would do is dont take the companies words as gospel, do a lot of research, see what they offer, check out some of their maps (via forums etc) see if you can find out what customers have thought - it is...

My track car is too far gone for me to put back to standard mate, and the one above is ok, but one rear arch isn't rusty ,but the paint has a gone a bit funny, there is bad paint along the roof ( I think the bonnet may have hit it at some point) and a few normal marks here and there, so there is...
The interior is seriously the cleanest newest looking in any clio I have seen, the rear has barely been sat in, and the front seat only has a tiny tiny mark on it, door cards are clean, carpets like near new :)
