    Roll Caged 172 Cup

It wasn't the fact you had it, it's more the fact it is held to that bar by cable ties - In an accident if you are hit it the back/rear sides that bar will be ripped out and the canister will come off - in a heavy impact it would come off the cable ties anyway - why don't you look somewhere were...

change oil before or after fitting new cams and dephaser

As said, the new oil won't effect the dephaser as it will already be worn, and as you are only a few weeks away from the cams being fitted, just let TDF change the oil

    remap for clio 197

Yes the map will help that flatspot mate, though iv read it doesnt full cure it. Best thing i would do is dont take the companies words as gospel, do a lot of research, see what they offer, check out some of their maps (via forums etc) see if you can find out what customers have thought - it is...

    remap for clio 197

Try doing a search mate, covered hundreds of times but the quick version is as long as it is mapped by someone who knows what they are doing it will drive a little nicer, and you might net 5 or 6 bhp, and if yours is a good one you might see 192-195bhp after the map, if it's mapped by someone...

    Lowering springs help please!

Springs will smash your dampers to bits? :S having cheap springs on can wear out dampers quicker, but can't 'smash them to bits' i do agree if you want it quite low and still retain a decent ride quality, you need a decent set of coilovers, if you fitted just a set of cheap lowering springs you...

    Advice for first time 182

Disagree. For road use, a decent set of shocks with Eibach springs is better than all but the really expensive coilovers. I am running Gaz coilovers (£500) and poly bushed front end, and my old ph1 which I fitted Eibach springs and brand new Renaultsport shocks was twice as good on the road...

    Work needs to be done

IMO, making a Renaultsport replica or going for the simple decent wheels and slightly lower is the best routes to take

My track car is too far gone for me to put back to standard mate, and the one above is ok, but one rear arch isn't rusty ,but the paint has a gone a bit funny, there is bad paint along the roof ( I think the bonnet may have hit it at some point) and a few normal marks here and there, so there is...

The interior is seriously the cleanest newest looking in any clio I have seen, the rear has barely been sat in, and the front seat only has a tiny tiny mark on it, door cards are clean, carpets like near new :)
