remap for clio 197

Am i running any risk if remap my clio 197.
-any mechanial faults
-any eletrical faults
That i must beware of?

Try doing a search mate, covered hundreds of times but the quick version is as long as it is mapped by someone who knows what they are doing it will drive a little nicer, and you might net 5 or 6 bhp, and if yours is a good one you might see 192-195bhp after the map, if it's mapped by someone who doesn't know what they are doing then worst case is your engine could suffer major damage

thanks very much mate. the main reason i want to get it remapped is the fix the dead spt at 2500rpm??
ive for a company that just specializes in renault sport's is that a safer option?

Yes the map will help that flatspot mate, though iv read it doesnt full cure it.

Best thing i would do is dont take the companies words as gospel, do a lot of research, see what they offer, check out some of their maps (via forums etc) see if you can find out what customers have thought - it is very easy to simply call yourself a specialist, with no real knowledge of the brand, so check them out
