Cheers all! TBF it did look a lot better bar the wheels than it does now, looks a state atm!
Must give the car a clean and sort a few things out, then get it booked in soon for a cage! :)
Depends on what application you'll be using them for, I went with the Konigsports for the adjustability of dampening as I use mine on track. They do rust quite badly (only had mine 6 months) so if your going for just lowering the car then go for the Silverlines.
That looks fantastic Dave! You should do that to the trophy, could make that look great also!
Can do my Clio whilst your there also ;) Knew Ollie would infect you with his OCD cleaning bug! Lol
Lol! Threatened, never! When your quicker than me and can actually take some pictures i'll be a little threatened ;)
When rollcage fundage is made available then she'll become swiss cheese on the metal department ;)
Love you more! xxx
Nah man same wheels that were on the Megane, they are the second set of 2118's though ;) Also whats up with the Clio mate? Not got that engine in there yet?
Thank you sir!
Proper shed aint she! ;) Indeed it shall find its way up there within the week, shall talk to you about it more at...
And Part 2 of the update!
Was a little bored so decided to do a bit on the clio. Lost quite a bit of interest in it recently, mainly down to the fact that i've working/staying up in London for the past 6 weeks so when I have been back home i've just been chilling out.
Decided to cut a few...
So a bit of an update, will do it over 2 posts as I forgot to right in Donnington!
So me and a few of the other locals took the treck up to Donnington for another trackday, all in all the best circuit i've done to date! So much fun and with it ending up being a perfect day the car was flying...
Looks fantastic now matey, but then I prefer a more clean OEM+ style car than it looked like before. White turinis are probably the worst colour you could paint them also, just look rubbish in comparsion to grey and silver.
Looks like its leaking out of the rocker cover bolts like the 172/182's do, like the chap said above. Just check it and drive it, then get it booked into Renault if its under warrenty!
Bolt it to the dash but from underneath? Find some redundunt holes on the bulkhead to cabletie it to? Remember it may not be that hot but the window will aid as a magnifying glass in a way.
The wires went all sticky when I had no dash in my Mk1 16v, so yeah I think I would know...
Erm no...
Should of mounted the fusebox undernear the dash instead of onto it, looks silly and what happens if we get some more good weather and it gets f'ing hot inside the car? Could melt the parts of the outer casing of the loom.
Yawn, normally i'd agree with you however the fact this is his trackcar and he has a daily already means your just posting drivel for the sake of posting it...
This! If you have a daily then go to town, exactly like what this chaps said I love how mine is now. Makes the experience of driving it far more exciting and entertaining!
If you having all the interior out permanently, like all seats/all doorcards/rooflining and keeping it out then you can remove all of the sound deadening and remove any bracketry thats redundant. Also take the dash out and loose all the sound deadening behind there, there's quite a bit of it...
