Cheers for the heads up Jay, would you use that shampoo also with a snow foam or is there a specific type of shampoo?
Sorry to sound like a complete schoolboy when it comes cleaning. I haven't cleaned a car properly in years so need a helping hand! Ha

So having just got my Byzanz Orange (copper coloured) E36 M3 in the last couple of days i'm looking to refresh my detailing kit as its a couple of years old and probably past it. Pretty much i'm asking you guys whats best for an average clean down to the small things like...
Sponges/wash mitts...
After owning my M3 for only 2days I can officially laugh at people thinking the 200 is uneconomical, unless you downgrade to something older/less spec'd the Clio 200 is perfect for what it is. IMO of course.

LOL! Down here we're civilised and dont have to be hamfisted and club footed to drive quick! ;)
Anyways i've had my disks glowing heavily and caliper start to go purple, you cant tell me thats trying hard enough! Surely it must be the softer of the pads that CL do that get the problems with...
The bluestuff's I had were alright, good braking power but the right disk is key! I had the pikey godspeed disks which were poo, with Brembo HC's I reckon they'd be alright or the price.
Fred - You still getting them CL falling apart or are you still living in the past? :) My CL's were perfect...
My brother has a G27 also but he's customised his quite a bit, reversing the peddles the other way like a normal car and also fitted a bucket seat with his own subframe/sidemounts/sliders. He's even fitted and sparco steering wheel with the controls still and retrofitted an actual handbrake for...
Well quite simply I used these wheels without and no problems, the fact your spigot rings melted means you bought cheap spigot rings simple.
Also I'm not interested in this 'how could this not give vibration at +/- 1mm or so with the wheel turing at about 500rpm?' rubbish... This forum is...
Things are looking Good Fletch! With cams, if your getting ITB's in the not too distant future get some aggresive profile cams. They may not run as well on standard ECU, but when you get your ITB's and management you can map them properly then make lots of POWER! ;)
I agree with the first bit however even on the hardest setting I can still the odd podium in a season.
I'm looking forward to the drs/kers, one thing I hope it has is different pit strategies. Would be good to have different teams use 2/3/4 pit strategies.
If you have bumpy road I personally wouldn't even bother with Eibachs, granted they'll be comfier than coilovers but from past experience with friends the Eibachs kill shocks just like any other lowering spring.
How about try a set of 172 Cup/182 Cup springs? There slightly stiffer than th...
With any forced inducted car, having slightly cold air won't make any difference. When the air gets compressed it heats up to high temperatures hence the need for an intercooler after the compression stage.
I used these on track numerous times with no spigot rings and never had a problem with 'horrendous' wheel vibration, the wheels were tightened to around 100nm and as said never had a problem.
Also I'm not sure why you'd need metal spigot rings over the standard plastic/poly style, all they do...
