Tackled the interior door switch panels, they were disgusting!! all the sticky crap removed.

Self employed chap, known him forever, was here for around 40 minutes, did every panel, even one on the boot lid I didn’t notice. Cost me next to nothing. I won’t say how much as everyone will be calling him asking to pay the same.

Dent man came today, every panel de-dented. I was pretty sure all the paint was original, he also confirmed that it’s never had paint work!

Ok, so I pulled the rear interior panels off to reveal the under sills.... As expected there’s rust, however it’s solid both sides all the way along, I’ve given it all a good stabbing with my screw driver and I haven’t gone through or feel like I’m going to go through. Can I get away with...

Rear lights are staying, with my growing age I now appreciate the original looks. Igive the headlights a good going over as I’m pretty good at sorting these plastic lenses. If not I’ll get a new set.

Finally got my hands on a totally original, un-messed with black phase 1 172 in black. Was on eBay at a breakers yard mid last week, rang them up and purchased it over the phone unseen for an absolute bargain! It was delivered today on a transporter and I’m well happy about how good it is...

Totally ruined a mint Cup ?

One of those cars I wish I never sold :( was almost perfect by the time I sold it. If it came up for sale I would probably buy it back, spent so much time on it making it factory fresh.

Anyone on here own S20 CUP? Was originally RY03 VYR. I owned it for a while in 2015/16, I can see its had a few owners since I sold it.

The 2.0 dCi is fine mechanically, its like anything, look after it and it will look after you. The 2.2 dCi was the one to avoid, absolutely shocking. When it was having its service on weekend the engine was totally leak free.

Looks like it hasnt got any tax on it but it's mot'd until Jan 2017. Was on 140k at the start of the year.
