Ok, so I pulled the rear interior panels off to reveal the under sills.... As expected there’s rust, however it’s solid both sides all the way along, I’ve given it all a good stabbing with my screw driver and I haven’t gone through or feel like I’m going to go through.

Rear lights are staying, with my growing age I now appreciate the original looks.

The 2.0 dCi is fine mechanically, its like anything, look after it and it will look after you. The 2.2 dCi was the one to avoid, absolutely shocking.
When it was having its service on weekend the engine was totally leak free.
