106's are cheap to run, insure, maintain, repair and buy parts for. I've been looking into them a lot recently. Thry get good reviews, speed wise they're not as quick as the williams, evo says 0-100 they're 2 seconds behind.
I don't know a lot about williams but the owners always have glowing...
If there where deals like this around i'm sure people would be queing up to buy brand new cars.
Unfortunately there probably isn't enough profit in it for them to produce cars like a 172 Cup so cheapley.
If I could get my hands on a 197 Cup brand new for £10,500 I would almost definately...
What about 2118's or OZ supertourizmo's 16's or 15's they'll both look good.
I do actually like pro race 1.2's but wolfrace don't get a good reputation on here.
And what? I've been on the forums for a while now therefore if someone asks a question on a car I haven't owned I can't give an opinion even though i've read what other people have said about it.
There are some right tits on this forum tbh.
type_rdriver took me out in his 172 cup with stealth without the centre box and it was fine normally driving and sounded great when gunning it. I think its your age mate.
Sometimes its nice in my nice quiet little 1.2 cruising along an A road at 50mph in silence but my next car with have a SS...
I have been saving up for a 172 for ages now, but as the times getting closer to when i'm looking to change my car (end of august) i'm thinking I cba spending so much to insure it, service it, inevitabely mod it etc.
Insurance is a lot at 19, £1700 is a good quote tbh.
Think i'm going to tpft my next car will only be worth 2.5k tops and if you break it you can get a fair few quid back so its porbably worth it.
Its up to you whether you want to risk it, your 182 will be worth 5.5K which is worth considering.
Sell the sub and amp. Get the car lowered on either springs or coilovers depending on budget, you'll notice the difference more than other mods.
Brake upgrades are a waste of time, the brakes are rated to 150bhp and are more than adiquate for road use anyway.
Exhaust is also a bit of a...
That 172 is awsome looking.
I'd say go for a 182 FF no real benifit to the cup model, they even cost more to buy with less equiptment and only 20kg's less weight.
Spot on that. 270bhp from an RS Tuning map coupled with the LSD makes the R26 an epic car both on the road and on the track.
I'm a huge fan of 197's too, you can't go wrong with either realy.
