My uncles on his second T-sport, the N/A one. He loves it, he had an 52 plate one and now a facelifted 54 plate one both from new. Niether has ever given him a problem, his current one is coming up for 5 years old now and its like brand new, however its only on about 20 odd thousand miles...
Can't wait for Forza 3. My borther got the GT5 Prologe: The in car view is awsome, however like all GT's the driving is crap, the only thing they do is understeer, the cars on Forza do what they would do in reality.
I've had everything from 29mpg to 57ish average out of my 1.2 all depends on the driving style.
I tend to ignor it now, wish it didn't tell you your mpg tbh, all I want it to tell me is when it needs more petrol.
I think there would be a market yes. If they put the dci 175 in it, got the emmisions down to band C or even B if they did stop start and all that stuff.
It would then make the RS Clio appealing to company car drivers, and after all the 2.0 N/A hot hatches are going, this is probably the last...
I wouldn't let my girlfriend or anybody else for that matter, drive my car because if they crashed it and I lost my ncb I would be gutted because it wasn't even my fault where as if I crash and lose my ncb then its my own fault and my mistake.
Ideally if my car was stripped i'd want a false floor with some storage space underneath for things like shopping etc that you wouldn't want to leave on show. Anybody done this?
Its irrelivent to the thread though because its a 1.6 Clio i.e. not a sport model, if it was a Saxo VTS, possibly a VTR for example they may accept this as relivent experience because although its also a 1.6 they're sports oriented models.
There are a fair few 1*2 Turbo's running JC5's. Ryan K runs one but if you look in his thread he was looking at other options too. You could go down the route of if it breaks i'll just fit another box if you are able to fit it yourself etc.
Sorry to hear mate. Cheaper to just put a new engine in? Second hand of course. Matt Black off here does them, I know Ryan K had one off him for his 182 Turbo.
Sorry to hear bout that mate. I'd hate to lose my ncb for something like that. Could you not have stood on the brakes to atleast try and limit the damage caused by reducing your speed.
b******s. Sorry to see thart mate. It puts me off buying nice cars in the future because they just get wrecked.
Someone scraped my bumber in a carpark last week. I wasn't impressed. No note of anything of course which made me realy mad.
I once reversed into a neighboors car, was late for...
