172 Import - Selling problem URGENT Help please !

Sorry mate , but your talkin out of your ring piece . I sold mine for the same price as UK models on aurotrader . Plus mine had a better alarm than the ones Renault fit , as they only have a warranty of 18 months iirc. Mine had a lifetime warranty from Toad . If the cars in good condition ...

    Reseting the ECU

I sold the apollo cos it was crap imo , plus i sold it for more than i paid for it ;) . The surface area of the filter is less than that of the standard panel filter . I now have a k+n cone filter inside a custom made aluminium airbox , the car pulls like a good un now and still has the 5k kick :)

172 Import - Selling problem URGENT Help please !

I think your getting confused on the import issue . Grey imports , like those from the far east , subaru's etc will come up as imports at the DVLA . An import like you have won't cos it will have been registered as new in this country . I'm on my second import , both were brand new with...

Changing the file format on digi camera....

Have you tried windows movie maker ? Shrinking it down from 123mb to 16mb might affect the quality of the video . You could always split the video into a few parts and keep the quality .

    Reseting the ECU

^^^ Sounds right to me . When i fitted a k+n apollo air filter to my 182 it said disconnect the battery for 30 mins . I didn't and the car came to a halt and had to be towed home by the AA . So i rang k+n and spoke to a guy in the R & D department . He told me i should have disconnected the...

    Best way to un-paint callipers??

I think you'll struggle like fcuk to get it off tbh mate , even with nitromors . You'll probably end up with bits of the yellow paint you can't get off and it'll look worse than ever . I'd just paint over them with hammerite black .

Its not exactly hard graft is it , spraying and rubbing down a bit of plastic lol . Doesn't take long either . Well worth doin yourself imo , if you just take your time , keep things grease and dust free , and bobs your uncle :)

Nas . Go to a local car parts supplier that mixes paint and get it from there . It'll be cheaper than going to renault .

Reliability/Cost in 4th and 5th year of ownership?

I wouldn't bother with an extended warranty tbh if you've never had any major problems so far . If it's been backwards and forwards to the dealership during your ownership then it might be worth considering imo .
