Yeah, I know enough about that! I've just done a shell swap and its had me pulling my hair out at times! Thought I'd finally finished on Friday, only to find 3 of 4 brake callipers had their bleed nipples seized up and rounded... Could have set fire to the bloody thing!
Welding is a skill you can use for the rest of time. The E21 probably won't outlive you... Just sayin'.
Also completely convinced by the front bumper! Crack on.
Yeah, I've snapped several bolts in the holes along the sill that keep the front arches on. Tbh they're not really needed and I CBA drilling them out!
MX5s are awesome to work on though, providing everything isn't corroded up - which is usually the case as they're getting on a bit now. :(
I've said many times before, but that does look great! Are the Rotas 15x7 or wider?
I'd leave the plate there tbh. Bored of relocated ones... Although a JDM plate in the centre does make it look a bit like a beaver.
370Z is a pre-order exclusive DLC - so I imagine you'd have to pre order the game from a certain retailer and you'd receive a code for the car, like they did in FM4.

I do like the original steering wheel you had on it - is it an OEM Nardi? Can't quite see on my phone.
Looks like a decent example anyway, good luck!
BTW, strip it. There's not a whole lot of weight to remove, but it just looks awesome inside when its gutted out
Sounds like it could be a bit of an investment if anything then. Could it be worth a fair amount in good condition? Like is it a rare/sought after kit?
The thing that's putting me off about it are the side skirts. The bits that start to follow the arch on either end. I don't know, I've never...
It might look alright when on the car in person, but I reckon you need to address the... ermm 'height issue', and the wheels too! Otherwise it will look a bit naff, guaranteed.
I'm glad you've decided on that. As much as I love them, a straight six would ruin it tbh. Too heavy and not in keeping with the spirit of the car IMO.
Plus, speed and power aren't all that, let's face it.
LOVE bank robbery style stuff. I thought one of the side missions in San Andreas where you robbed a Casino was fun - had to have everything planned out before hand; pinching a uniform, pinching the blueprints for the building etc it was awesome!
Swapping characters sounds very interesting too...
