Living with someone who owns an MX5 is really not helping my want for one currently. We gave it a quick going over with an oily rag today, and this is probably the best it's looked in months (which is really saying something!) It's fully s**t, but that makes it awesome. It's like a zero f**ks...

No, definitely not showroom spec. You've got to remember that it's an 11 year old car, though. I tend to forget an '02 plate doesn't mean a 5 or 6 year old car anymore! Odd.

It certainly is! Much better than an MX5 in everyway IMO, but that's actually one of the reasons I kinda want another MX5, because they're flawed in some ways they have a bit more character. The MR2 is like a mini Boxster. The MX5 is more childish in the way you drive it! lol.

Depends if I can get the HKS coilovers I have un-seized. It'll certainly be much easier having them off the car and being able to take my time with it, rather than having to rush to get it done on my days off etc. Should turn out pretty nicely... hopefully! Me too! It would have been awesome...

Another MK1 MX5, I've got a full cars worth of spare parts, insurance is less, much cheaper to buy. Makes sense really!
