    Apple Charger/Cable issues.

I don't know what you are doing to them to be honest. I have been using apple products for years and all the original chargers work. I have the first gen iPad and I still use the original charger - daily!

    Fitting a momo boss to a 182

Right - the boss now fits after removing that plastic 'thing'. But..... I now have serv and traction control lights on. Any ideas about what I may have done whilst fiddling with the steering column that could have cause this?

    Fitting a momo boss to a 182

Right, so I followed the guide for fitting the boss and it all went swimmingly. However, now I have put it all back together the boss seems to be rubbing on the 'clock spring' (at least I think that's what it is) Do I need it? I had to move it out of the way to change indicator stalks and it...

The Renault 5 one doesn't fit on a 1*2 momo boss. I found that out yesterday. You would need an adaptor plate or a custom boss

    Phase 1 service light?

I am wrong, it's not the emissions light.

    Phase 1 service light?

There is no 'service indicator' on the rs clio's though... (despite the fact that it unhelpfully says SERV)

    Top end oil leak?

I had a similar problem, but luckily for me it was seeping from one of the rocker cover bolts. Undid that one bolt lifted it up and but some silicone under the head of the bolt. Hey presto no more leaks.

    Phase 1 service light?

It's an emissions light I believe - there will be a problem with the downstream lamda sensor. l

    Mis-sold a clio 182 cup??

You need to measure the bolt spacing on the front shock absorbers. Just turn the front wheels and you can get in to measure them. Can't for the life of me remember what this spacing should be though - have a quick search on here.

Re: Best breaks for phase 1 172 I run Mintex 1144 and I have never managed to get them to fade on the road - even when making very swift progress. Maybe slow down?
