Go back to the garage and ask why it is not there?
No function other than to look pretty.
They often come up for sale in the 'parts for sale section'
(My brother took his peugeot to a main dealer and his went 'missing'. The garage to this today insists it was never present. It's impossible...
I am going to be running mine as a daily with forged pistons. I would be more than happy with 30k, that's 2 and a half years driving for me!
Do you have any turbo recommendations chip?
Given the incredibly long winter we are having, I think I made the right choice getting a set of winters this year!
They have been fantastic and as I said previously I would definately recommend them.
They have a 280 kits (presumably the turbo would be capable of at least that)
And the other bits seems to be perfect tbh.
But you are right - I do need to decide what to do about a turbo.
Currently I have a forged block ready to drop in, but that's it.
I am weighing up my options but for convenience I am leaning towards the engine dynamics package.
How? If you assume transmission losses of 15% that means he is getting 198bhp ATF, even with 20% it's only 206bhp ATF.
it's probably a little high but not massively out?
Its looking increasingly likely that I will be buying a forged engine for a turbo build.
Is it worth storing my 75k full service history 182 engine as a 'spare'?
If so, what's the best way to store it?
Thanks in advance.
