Nope, literally gave it a quick once over as the paint work was getting very poor, and it was starting to have marks staining on the paint. Much better now, and il do it again and use some decent wax to seal it at some point soon :)
Scott, you don't know the half of it lol, that was a 10 minute skim over with the machine poilsher and an old pad - it's 10x better than it was, but needs a proper detailer to do it, rather than me lol.
To be fair, being so over cast didn't help the pictures, under the lights in the workshop it...
Well cleaner that it was.
As it passed it's MOT today I thought id treat it to a good polish with all the equipment we have at work.
I have no idea what im doing cleaning wise (reminds me to PM Gally lol) and I kinda gave up after a while but it definately looks better than it did...
lol, im the opposite, engines im fine with, but my total technological expertise goes as far as control alt delete :o
It does require the throttle body to be removed, but it's more to do with the correct cleaning and lubing mate - to get it right you need the body off for a soak overnight...
That's my dad. He was coming up in the pro-frying circuit. Last fry up of the season, he was coming into the final batch of chips when a burger flipper named Kenny Linder tapped his back and put him into the fryer at a hundred and twenty miles an hour. I watched my father fried to death. I can...

Thats the mistake I made at first, its the WHOLE mount that needs to be moved mate, which includes those little barbed pieces - stick a bar bwtween the bulkhead and the mount (By the pipe on the right of the picture) and move the whole thing
ps, your mount looks a little worn in that picture
If you just want noise mate, and are not bothered about heat soak etc, pop to Halfords/ebay and buy a cheap cone filter - just make sure it is the correct size to go onto your inlet
have you pulled the o/s mount forward enough? I remember the first time I did it I moved it 5 or 6mm, but when I have it a (BIG) tug it moved about an inch and stopped mine knocking
Not great pictures, but as said earlier I stole our super snoopy thing from work (Technical name there ;) ) and had a look inside the plug holes.
