All i can say is these are the results we got. The Dyno we used is a decent make and not that old. Why would this not be a true reading when each one was carried out within 5 minutes on the same rollers on the same day at the same temperature. At the end of the day these are the results we have...
:) The background we are from is Renault! My old man is a Renault specialist and has been for over 50 years! He has all the latest diagnostic kit including the clip. Basically i have been building up the tuning side to run parallel with his business.

Hi mate, we are based up in Leeds.
Yes i will post results of a STD. car no probs. I would expect very similar gains due to the positioning of the Viper, i would even go so far as to say it may even give better results as the intake is literally pointing directly at the radiator with about...
That is exactly what i thought! I don't make any changes to the maps myself as this takes years of experience and a few blown engines! The software i am using has been provided by a French man who does many of the RS 172/182 range and promised good results. When the car was on the rollers...
Hi Guys, basically the 182 we took to the rollers produced 172.1 at the flywheel before and 185.7 after. We also saw a gain of 15lbft torque which should make all the difference! I will have to take a photo of the graph and post as i don't have a scanner:(
The price to CS members will be £275...
We have today been to the rolling road to test a couple of remaps we have for the 182 and the results are very surprising to say the least!
The std. car ran 172.1 BHP with 150lbft Torque and with the remap we saw results of 185.7 BHP and 165lbft Torque!
I will post up the graphs when i get a...
Hi mate, Basically the unit i use is called SPI which plugs into the OBD plug and enables you to re-write the mapping on the ECU. So far my MRS is very happy with her car("i can do 80 up that hill now!")! I am based up in Leeds so if you are interested PM me.

Yes:D I have just done my partners DCI65 and it now has a massive 95HP and the MPG has gone up! She is well impressed to say the least! If anyone is interested i can do any of the renault DCI range with gains from 30-40 BHP. £250 all in

I would probably suggest a "remap". I would be able to help you out there if you were interested. This would be a physical chip change but as i remember the real world gains for the 16v are pretty good.

Hi guys, Just to let you know i am now able to do the 182's for the same price. Results of the first car will be posted when i find the first car to do! (discounted of course).

Why take it to a stealer? Mine was serviced for 100+ VAT and included the expensive ELF oil, filter from renno and even the pollen filter!
Renault were still fine with the warranty also.

Go to maplins and buy a resistor for a few pence mate as this is all this is. Basically confuses the ECU into thinking it is cold via the Air Intake wiring!

I suggest you take it to a garage so save you from doing the wrong one. They should only charge you 1hr's labour max. Probs about 60 quid for a shaft but depends where you get it from and if it is O/S or N/S.

I can help you out with the remap mate. Check this thread out:

So far the cars i have done drive so much better and there is a noticable difference.

@theduckeatspork vbmenu_register("postmenu_1119304", true); Valvers have speakers in the dash mate.
I take it you want to know what that black box is behind there?
Only problem with rolling road would be every car will produce slightly different power so one may read 180 remapped but was 175 before the map. I.e. The car would have to be rolling roaded on the same road with the same conditions on the same day to get accurate results. The road i used today...
