I have just collected my old clio valver on a 1992 K, the body is tidy except the rear arches which i am going to weld some nice new metal in and it needs a front bumper as some c**k ripped it off  . I have all the bits cosmetically for the car but my question is....
Do i turbo it...
Errr, have fun taking the dash out mate! Never done an RSI but all the others are a total b**ch. Shame they don't do the aftermarket matrix like they did for the Renno 5 as it was possible to do without taking the dash out.

Possibly just the connection an the reverse light sensor. Very easy to get to (near 5th speed cover, 1 wire). I think you can actually get to it with the wheels on.

The cost to a CS member is £275 for the remap. It would be totally up to you if you chose to tell your insurance. All i can say is they would have to delve fairly deep into things to find the map but if they really wanted to they could find it. Your choice ;)

The last 172 we rolling roaded with our map showed an extra 5BHP and 12lbft torque (back to back test on a v expendive Dyno!) which makes quite a large difference on the road. There is a thread related to the mapped 172 and the owner has posted up his experience of the remap.
If you need any...
Because if you leave in the exhaust system the ECU will think the cat is not doing it's job and in turn bring on the toxic fume light. I assume the Lambda is actually still plugged into the wire?

Hi Guys and gals, how much will a Std.(except lowered and decat) 1992 K Plate Clio 16v in Tungsten Grey with that fairly rare interior (blue/yellow Stripes) be worth?
There is no rust on the car and just a couple of stone chips on the front.
Also the car has std rims which are in good...
So what's an average result from a 182 then? As John rightly stated most of the time the RR is purely to see the difference/gains.
The same car may show 190 on one and 170 on another. The only more accurate method i know of is an engine dyno but for obvious reasons this is not the best...
That is what i meant i think! The way i did it was to ensure everything was carried out in the same way to give clean results for the people to see.

Hi John, the car was run on 98RON Optimax and the tests were back to back. To reset the adaptive the car was run (after programming) for 15mins lights on then 15 lights off. This is Renaults way of re-calobration where i believe ford say to drive hard for 7 miles or so i think? As for knock/det...
There is not just one map. Depending on the ECU and software version depends on my map. Any changes can be made as my maps are not some gineric ebay sh*t, each one is usually custom to the vehicle. All have been rolling roaded with excellent results (on here somewhere) and no problems.
