Here we go again:S :D
Use the search function and you will find a wealth of information on the 182 Remap.
We can provide our own 182 Remap which has been run on various rolling roads back to back to show exact gains.
An average gain was 14hp and 15lbft obviously not extra but peak in...
Hmmm, not sure if the 92 model will 100% have an immo or not. My 92k doesn't have one and i've seen several others without. Never really tried swapping ECU's but i'm fairly sure that they are backward compatible.

^^ Not half! I have 5 PH1 ECU's which i can supply cheap and outright but as for PH2 & 182 not a chance lol.
Back to the thread...
Our remap vs a groupn
The only true test would be on a rolling road on the same car :D

Still looking at the RR... I have only used Well Lane once for certain reasons. I usually use a place in Halifax who have one of the best Dyno's in the country!

Basically the stock ECU is remapped keeping ALL original features. As for Renno.. they are unable to see the map as such but CAN OVERWRITE with a factory upgrade. It's quite rare really but does happen.
The mods above will work very well with the remap and i should be able to release some more...
Cheers Fred, was good to see you at the show and we must have a longer chat sometime!
As for the offboard remap/reflash yes we can do this no problem.
Cheers

So far we have done 2 back to back tests on the 182 both on different rollers and both times excellent gains were seen. one is here:

and the other is here...
I'm currently looking for a MK1 and MK2 V6 to develop a new remap on. Obviously there will be a healthy discount for the first of each!

The Megane 225 remap is fully tested and put through the paces on the rolling road. The reliability of a remapped car USUALLY is the same as a std. spec. I am running the 265 map on my own megane and have had no problems in approx 10 months. As for Diesels... They are also in a similar situation...
^^
As we don't have a rolling road it makes it difficult for us to provide this service. This is why full rolling road testing is carried out on each and every map we do. All i could suggest is using a local rolling road and getting a run prior to coming then one on the way home. Obviously the...
In theory renault are unable to tell about the map only the time the car was programmed. If the ecu was flashed by them obviously it would need another re-flash which we will do at a small cost. If however you come to me before taking the car to renault i will return the car to original then...
Hi Mate, the usual rolling road cost is arround £100 depending on where i use. I'd need to know well in advance so i can book the rollers and make sure other jobs are re-arranged because as you can imagine it is quite time consuming.
Hope this helps
