I had the plenum professionally polished, the rest I done myself. DO NOT TAKE the cam cover off (the bit under the manifold), as it holds the cams in and you cant take it off without stripping down the cambelt and so on. I gas flowed my head hence painting the cover as it was all in bits.

72k or 5 years according to Renault. Personally I would get it done at 50K. If you want a quote on the job send me a pm with car details.

Im sure you get free breakdown cover with the car for 3 years, so should be free.

Could be such a long list of stuff on the 1.2. Check the basics, like spark/fuel. Check the TDC sensor is OK. Really needs a diagnostic check to locate the fault.

Well in all my years of fixing cars have never heard of an idle kit for rough running. When they sort it post up the part number from the invoice.

Is that like a fallopian tube for bleeding the brake? Dylithium crystals for the ecu type thing. Can't say I have ever heard of an idle kit, maybe a cambelt idler pulley of acc. belt idler pulley, but not for the idle itself.
