The piston can get a bit rusty inside the caliper . You can try pressing the brake pedal with no disc / pads on so the piston sticks out the caliper then apply a thin layer of grease to the piston .
But be aware that the piston doesn't pop right out of the caliper , its a bit fiddly to get...
Shouldn't make any difference what codecs you have installed if your burning the avi's as data .
It could be any number of things . Cheap media , dvd burner lens dirty , with these 2 problems you usually get the message " power calibration error " .
What version of nero are you using ...
Just undo the brake fluid reservoir cap , get a thick piece of wood or the handle of a hammer , something that won't damage the piston , then force the piston back into the caliper .
Like Craig says . Makes no difference having the handbrake on .
I acquired myself a new beesting aerial a couple of weeks ago when i was in Menorca . Thanks to whoevers Opel Corsa it was , lol ;)

Pmsl at Maz's small splitter ;) :quiet:
Looks a bit too small to me mate , it might snap if you try and bend it to fit . I'd get in touch with whoever you bought it off and get it swapped .
Agree with keben . Offer 5k ,cambelt will need doing in the next 12 months at 60k, accessories belt and pulleys should have been done at 36,000 miles as well .
Not sure what chip he's got in there giving an extra 30 bhp tho'
Your best bet is to check out what price similar cars are selling for on Autotrader , that'll give you a rough idea of its value . If you going to advertise it on Autotrader , price it slightly higher than you actually want for it , say in the region of £300 ish , also sell it with o.n.o so the...
Hmmm . Never heard of that before :S There are two manuals , one for the clio and a separate one for the RS , maybe thats what he's on about . The service book covers all models : twingo , v6 , laguna , clio etc ............ its not specific to one vehicle afaik , it has all the recommended...
They are the same pads for the mk2 ph2 172 / 182 as the megane . Not sure about the ph1's but i'm pretty usre they are all the same pads .Thats the right part number you've quoted for ph2 172's anyway and 182's .
I've never had problems with Flux , had a claim a couple of years ago and everything went smooth .
Try http://www.privilege.com/
or

Try and get a better quote and get Flux to drop theirs as they promise to match when you renew .
Never heard...
Sounds like the orginal mount to me . Mine was the same on my 172 , but i had to cut mine off when the back box was banging on the ground , lol . Powerflow just made me a new mount and welded it to the car then hung the new exhaust on that . Perfect fit :)
Like rory says whats the car gone in for , are the wires related to the original problem ? If they aren't related then you should have you warranty work carried out with no problem .
I had a stealth powerflow on my old 172 . If you need a new back box i'd go for the whole catback stainless if i was you as the rest will drop to bits anyway . Mine cost £270 fabricated and fitted .
Artcic blue colour code is J41 . The mondial blue on the 172 cups is a very similar colour but is slightly flatter and the code is D43 .
Tbh i wouldn't but it from Renault anyway . Go to a good local paint suppliers and they will knock you up an aerosol for around £7.00
Parallel imports are imported from EU countries like when people say they have a 172 import , usually sourced from countries such as France , Holland , Germany etc ....
Grey imports are from non EU countries , such as Japan where the majority of imports come from .
Parallel imports are...
I use microfibre applicators rather than the yellow foam ones . Some people say they use / waste more product than the yellow foam ones but imo its negligible .Plus they are easier to hold as they are larger than the foam pads .
To dry use a waffle weave towel and plush microfibre to remove...
I had a 172 and the original contis were pretty good in the wet and dry , but they wore out on the front after only 7500miles . So then i tried toyo t1-s's which were good in the dry but s**t in the wet , then i tried the toyo t1-r's which were no different .
Then when i bought my 182 i was...
