Never needed to top mine up . Go for fully synthetic 5w-40 , i use Silkolene Pro S 5w-40 , seems a popular choice for 172 / 182's .

Bought it from a member on here called Oilman ( Guy ) .
I'm on my second one mate . Had a 172 got a 182 now . Good cars for the money , go for the full fat imo , all the toys etc........ get a test drive in one if you can .
Thats cheap . Don't know about the quality of them though . You'll also need either new bearings or the old ones pressing out and pressing into the new discs . There's no abs ring on them as well , but if you've got a cup that won't matter .
Powerflow aren't expensive . Don't know where you get that idea from tommyboy . It was only £270 for a full stainless catback for my old 172 . It was £120 for the backbox .
Check on here for your nearest powerflow outlet :

^^^^ Thats a new one on me mate . Why would you want to suck the old fluid out of the reservoir ??
Just crack the nipple , pump the pedal and top up the reservoir as you bleed the old fluid out . If you gonna use 2 litres you'll have new fluid to all the calipers as the 172 / 182 system only...
Not sure the beam deflectors will work if you have xenons tbh . I think they were designed for normal lights .
Your also supposed to take things like a first aid kit , high vis vest , red warning triangle , spare bulbs etc ..... just if you should get pulled by the police and they want to be...
The va bit is the voltage / amp rating . Its to do with what appliance your running off the transformer , bigger transformers usually have a larger kva rating and more often than not 2 output plugs for running more than one thing at once .
I have to disagree with part of your statement Ad .
Selling private is the best way . A general rule of thumb is never part ex if you don't have to . You'll get rock bottom price for the motor your part exchanging as the dealer wants to make money on the vehicle he's selling and then the...
Pixmania were fine for me . Saved just over £100 on a camcorder compared to anywhere in the UK , plus it was the latest model which wasn't released over here for another 6 months . English manuals , 2 year warranty . I'd use them again anway .
You've got to ask yourself why its so low mileage . I know alot of people have them for weekend toys , but it also could have been off the road for a long time being repaired .
I have a talex lite , in fact a few people on here do , it needs to positioned in the middle of the dash where the little square is on the windscreen .
