yes but a driveshaft is a straight piece of steel! lol, the only thing that really goes on them.......is the CV joint!! (or they completely snap but thats clearly not whats happened)
and you can change the whole shaft if you like, easy job, but shafts dont come cheap, even second hand theyre...
i really like the way youve moutned the seats, not seen them mounted that way before,
and please take it as a compliment if i mount mine in a similar way!!
though i will need to get my hands on some taller side mounts or im not going to be able to see a damn thing!!
did you weld the top plate...
no, they wont, you will most likely need 58mm bolt spacing, but best off measuring yourself!!
and OP, if youre still looking for rear shocks, i have a set in my garage that arnt doing anything!
welcome to cs!! clio looks good, could use some lows though!!
as for the problem, it sounds like fault in the fly by wire throttle set up,
but you could obviously start with the simple things ie, coilpack/lambda/HT leads (i assume new plugs were used when servicing!?)
tbh, i was rooting throght the garage for my centre caps and i found them left over from my old ph1 non-sport! tried to fit them and theyre a perfect fit!!
if you want some just pop to a scrappie!! might even strike lucky and find them off a gloss black non-sport!
and defs get some photos...

ahh yes that lovely day i was battling with my battery relocation!! lol,
are those seats still about then??
and yes, i plan to leave the crossmember off, it makes the engine so much more accessable, and as far as i can work out, hold no structure significance, other than to mount the bonnet...
you havnt been creative, youve just made your car look shite!! different doesnt always mean better.
and guess what, youre not being different, so many people before have done terrible mods, and tried to say this forum is arrogant for telling them that it looks gash!!
you only get points for...
lol of course i will!
im just waiting for the interior to sell, where better place to keep it in the mean time than left in the car?! lol
as soon as it sells ill be stripping it,
removing all the tar,
cutting down the rear loom and re-wrapping it,
adding my cage,
adding seats and harnesses,
please bear in mind that the project isnt finished, the engine bay is a mess and the engine is still yet to be removed,
and the interior hasnt even been touched upon yet!!
however from the exterior, its pretty much what its going to look like once complete!!
i just thought id take a few snaps...
nope, no need for spacers fitting 172/182 wheels
have a nice long browse through the non-sport appreciation thread and get some inspiriation from there,
just dont go for anything too chavy like so many people do!!
also, try and get hold of the ebay rokkor/raceland coilovers!! they cheap and...
at least hes taken lots of close up blurey pictures so that you cant see the massive scuff on one of them!!
oh and so you can also see how nothing gets marked in their custom build storage system.......wheels are in the corner of a garage resting on a shock and a spring!! flol
shamefully...
