I am going to have a bash at replacing my top mounts the morning and I have read that spring compressors are not needed for lowering springs. Will I need them for a 182 on standard cup suspension?
Thanks in advance.
Ahh sorry chap didn't read your post properly. If it's turning over labouriously and slowly the battery could be nearly flat. The clicking you mentioned is normally a flat battery. Could just need a jump, do you have any leads and a mate near by?
Lol.
I don't think you really have much choice buddy! Get it down to an RS specialist and take it from there. Once your 182 is running sweet you will love it.
When I first bought my 182 I had the cambelt replaced by Renault, roughly 18 months ago. I like to think I know a fair bit about cars, but I had never heard of a dephaser...
The old girl has started to sound tappety and I have almost resigned myself to the fate that will have to stump up for...
I genuinely thought I had fixed it properly, it's just a hairline crack on the original weld.. That sports cat looks interesting, thanks for the suggestion Daniel.
My cat I leaking, again..... Its amazing how annoying a little whistle can be! Shall I get it welded again (properly this time), buy a second hand cat or take the plunge and add a decat to my rs192..
Thoughts?
The previous owner must have just used automatic car washes and it's really quite swirly. Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much it would cost to get a full paint correction? The bodywork is in great condition, but it would be great to have the car blocking as good as possible...
