I have a 182 and the clutch is very heavy and the biting point is high, as you describe. Its just because it's unassisted, most cars have hydraulic clutch pedals. Coming from a different car it will feel odd/broken.
But you will get used to it.
I did!
Sorry, not the clearest question I have ever asked. I have a 182 with cup packs, but instead of spending my pennies on coilovers I wondered if there was a kit (from Sachs maybe?) for the 182 to convert to trophy spec suspension
Am I right in the thinking the springs are different all round...
Scorpion rs192. Its good value and sounds pretty good but much quieter than other systems I have seen.
Haven't any vids but there is plenty on youtube for all of them.

Drive shaft should just slide in if you line it up with the splines.. Just give it a shove. Then replace the gear box oil obviously. No damage done, well not to the car!
I am wondering if there is anyone local I can get my checked out with?
I have got some hesitancy at high revs and i am concerned it might be serious.
The car has had regular servicing, belts have been changed and more recently the coil pack, plugs and leads.
Clio 182
Thanks in advance
The flat spot seems to come and go...
I welded the cat up post - flat spot. But the cat has been leaking for sometime.
Cat looks like new internally. No fault codes showing.
Erm now I have no clue as to what to do!
Right had it plugged in and it came it with o2 sensor fault and a couple of brake sensor faults and weirdly a cruise control fault. Anyhow i reset them and went for a drive now it stutters and coughs like a good'n with an intermittent engine light. Plugged it back in and it says damaging misfire...
It has now come up with an engine management light, i am guessing it may be a lamda issue. It idles fine and sounds like all 4 cylinders are working ok.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Hey guys, my 182 has developed a cheeky little flat spot at about 6k rpm. Should I be worried and is there anything I could/ should do?
I changed the plugs earlier today to no avail?!
