Well I'm a bit cynical to any mods unless they give you at least 20ish bhp you'd hardly tell any difference really. Others may disagree but that's my take on it all. Think the Top Gear Espace episode summed up mild mods perfectly.

Get rid of excess "gas" weight,it would have about the same effect. Realistically,even if it made 2bhp you wouldn't tell.

It will make about the same performance gain as letting that one you've been brewing off before you get in the car, instead of sharing it with passengers.

Just so you know, attatched to the floor isn't ideal either. Potentially brakes your back in a crash. As said above harness bar to your cage or seat belts until you do. If you're going to do it, do it properly. Otherwise you'll look great in your harness.....until you crash. Not worth the risk bud.
