No I was in the toilet near the garages lol, no garage for me, I can fit all my spare stuff in my spare wheel well. I was with George a lot of the time though.

Is anybody who thinks that it's actually worth stripping a Clio for trackdays going to Donny on Sunday? I am genuinely interested in how much difference it makes, if I get totally trounced on I will admit it but I just can't see that it's worth all the effort. I don't know if they are on here...

Check for the dreaded dephaser pulley. When warmed up, if it sounds a bit like a diesel it needs replacing soon.

I like them but in all fairness, I think realistically you'll be lucky to get over 175 with those mods. Mate of mine has a BRM so essentially same block. He's spent thousands and is in the trade. He's got throttle bodies, ditched the VVC for uprated cams, steel crank, serious headwork etc etc...

See where you're coming from but it's for trackdays. More important things to consider first IMHO. Whilst things can fail and accidents can happen, thankfully they're very rare. So much better to do brakes, suspension, tyres and instruction first.
