    Very foggy isnt it ;) Lots of potential in the car though mate, good decision with the 1.4 16v wish I had that 25bhp more at times.

    I'd get a set of h&r's and save the rest towards exhaust etc. Its funny how people on here say don't mod save the money etc yet will mod there own car and enjoy doing so....

    D'oh.....Snapped My Front Cup Splitter

    Give the carbon one a go. They look brilliant, just an expensive mistake if you hit a kerb again. This is the reason why a lot of cup packed 182's are missing the splitter, they get broken and not replaced.

    Yeh its bad, even worse when you think the PH2 172 had them as standard and that was 8 years ago when they came out.

    I love this car, the best part for me is it just looks like a completely standard mint condition car. The cruise control is a welcome addition aswell, should have been standard on all ph2 172's imo not just the late ones.

    YS for me too. Why does fitting a decat cause flat spots? Usually they make the car more free revving etc, could a remap not sort out the flat spots.

    Take it we're on about 172's then? The milltek has a gash backbox though, the 182 milltek is a good system though.

    Tbh i'm looking forward to seeing f0xy's MK1 finished. If he goes all the way with ITB's etc eventually then it gets my vote. I would also sell one of my lungs for barrons Ph1 its epic.

    Not a fan of them. Making a 1250kg hot hatch even heavier doesn't make sence to me, if you want a luxury car you don't buy a hot hatch imo.

    Mine because its the quickest. Might only be a 1.2 but i've removed the B pillar trim and N/S 16V bullet, they're in the boot so its light. Easily beats 1*2's when I have the back seats down.

    Must have been mad looking at the speedo saying 171 then remembering your in a clio. A true 160.6 is good going from a Vee though, they're not the most aerodynamic cars sround. Was that on your ring trip?

    I'd go for the trackday and tuition option. When I get a 1*2 i'm going to book a trackday with tuition to try to learn how to maximise its potential. The trophy is the best handling standard Mk2 Clio so you already have a huge advantage. If you want to go down the route of physical upgrades...
