You can either cut it off centre with a hacksaw or give your old knob a good hard tug as that usually brings them off.

It works something like this, code incorrect 2 min wait, code incorrect again 5 min wait and so on upto 30 mins. Sit in the car read a paper with the ignition on and the radio on, it will eventually come back with code, its time locked at the moment.

Loads of chemicals on mine, keeps it lovely, spend all of 30 mins to keep it clean. once every few months I might spend 2 hours on it.

Why not just have the tint cut out around the sensor, its not a very big area to remove.

As long as the connectors are the same at the back it will be fine. as far as I can remember it will fit with no problems

very true, but look at the price of zymol, the ceapest I can get the supagaurd pack for is 75 quid thats for the silver pack the gold pack is 150 odd. The big differeance is that a quality wax or polish will only last for a limited amount of time, the stuff I use lasts for ages and 1 set will...

I use a similar product, jewel ultra diamondbrite, easier to apply than supergaurd IMO good results to and I got loads of the stuff only a small pic but it bring the paintwork up lovely link to my shop for it below as well...

its only a small amount, if it starts leaking badly you will smell it. Keep an eye on it

clean it up and have a look in a few weeks time, may just be spillage. otherwise its gona need stripping and sealing up.

you just had it serviced then? clean it up , check it in a months time if its just been serviced. Bloody reno techs:@ no need to splill oil at all, if they do at least clean it up!

yep thats a big job to do, not only is it a rocker cover it also holds the cams in place, so cambelt has to come off and so on. bit like this..... but not a head off job like this was, new sealer required around shiny surfaces, then re-build and test...

Anything by VDO Dayton, sorted systems IMO, must be good as the ambulance service uses them.
