Loony, you cant use the renault controls with the VDO system as far as I know. Spent 280 for everything, already had the nav system for a while.

yes mate, have all the part numbers as follows and prices..... dash is 77 01 059 772 231 + vat surround is 82 00 069 065 BRACKET DASH PANE 17.39 + vat you can pick up a vdo ms5000 system from ebay for around 300 to 400 now.

Took long enough but its all sorted now, and its proper mint. System specs for everything as follows...... PS2 , 600W amp powering DB Audio sub, infinity speakers all round, sony MP3 head unit, vdo ms5000 nav system(now with latest nav disk, no more trips to Bristol:oops:), vdo multimedia...

The gasket is the sealant, Loctite 418 comes. 2 days to do, I can understand that as half the time you get pulled of a job to do a waiting job and so on. I done my head and all that on my car in 8 hours solid. Glad its sorted Shaun.:)
