Tbh mate . It sounds like its gonna need a refurb , oh well . Plenty of AG super resin , extra gloss protection and some wax should see em right when they've been done . It'll stop any brake dust sticking in the future and make them easy to clean .
There usually is , but i don't see a problem not having the lug . The piston screws in and out when its operating so it should still apply pressure to the pad .
Agree with cupster . Say nothing . I would have thought you should have paid up at the time of repair to the other car . When i crashed mine i had to pay my excess within a couple of weeks . You might be lucky and get away with it ;)
I'm sure if you pm rory182 he'll guide you through what to do if you want to organise a group buy . Its worth the saving , the mats look the dogs b****cks .
Rory182 organised a group buy from justmatz a couple of months ago . Theres where most of the people who have em on here got them from .

According to edde , the 182 cat is probably as good as the sports cat . Have you tried putting the original cat back on and seeing how it responds ?
A post from edde yesterday :
They might need longer to bed in . I thought you were supposed to treat the greenstuff pads like any other pad and not abuse em too much for the first couple of hundred miles so they don't glaze over ?
You could try taking them out and rub down the surface of the pads with some emery cloth ...
Agree , ecotecs are garbage . Theres a group buy on remapping . This guy pmurray is supposed to be the dogs b****cks . See the thread below for more info .

I'd ask em them why they recommended the discs need changing , ask them what measurement they got , then if its way out from your measurement tell them what you got . Say something like your going to call Renault uk customer services for some advice , call their bluff and see what they say . You...
Nice one Justin . I thought it sounded dodgy needing new discs after just 11k , what about your pads mate , what condition are they in ?
Tbh mate i'd get back onto the dealers who said the discs need replacing , ask em why and tell them they can replace them and the pads under warranty ...
A i right in thinking edde that the first lambda sensor plugs into the downpipe from the exhaust manifold and its only the second sensor that plugs into the cat or decat ?
I looked at mine yesterday as i was changing the oil , its looking a bit ropey , its only on 4200 miles and 6 months old  I'll just get a powerflow when it drops off , lol .
^^^^ Ok no problem . Pm your hotmail addy and i'll send you dvd santa if you want . I just e mailed it to myself and it worked . Sometimes hotmail doesn't like programs and thinks they are virus's .
Whats the exact version of your nero and i might have something to make it a full version ;)
Winavi dvd convertor and dvd santa are the best really . Some of the other programs can take hours to convert and the quality isn't always that good .
