^^^^ List all the good things . If its in very good condition say so , if it has good / new tyres say so , same for brakes if they have recently been changed say so , condition of alloys etc .... You have to make your car stand out from the rest , baring in mind there are lots of 172's for sale .

Yeah its the right stuff .Like i said , the 5w-40 is for colder climates down to -25 degrees C , 10w-30 is for climates down to -20 degrees C so unless you live in an arctic country it will be ok . It tells you this in the service book .

Mine did it for ages on my 172 . I changed the battery and it was fine after that .The batteries only have a warranty for 2 years iirc . They are only a pretty low amp battery as standard 420amps , you could try and get a heavy duty battery if it turns out to be the battery . I've also read...

Mine lasted about 30k then fell off , got a stealth stainless cat back fabricated and fitted by powerflow for £270 , lifetime warranty and cheaper than a replacement renault one .

10w-40 will be fine , its for temperatures which go down to -20 degrees C , its also recommended for clio 182's in the service manual . 5w-40 is for temperatures which can go down to -25 degrees C which is also recommended in the service manual .

Same here for me , spray on , leave for 10 mins powerwash off , best stuff i've used .Also Aldi's own version which is only 99p a bottle opposed to about £3.50ish for fairy power spray ;)

When my rear windows dirty i turn on the rear wiper / washer , cleans the window a treat . Not useless imo .

^^^ Its the other way round mate . 2 years manufacturers 1 year dealership giving you 3 years warranty .

Your brake pads are worn down , causing low brake fluid level . Common problem mate .First check the condition of your pads they might need replacing , if they are ok just top up the brake fluid reservoir and that will sort it out .

The new greenstuff pads are supposed to be good . I'm gonna go for them when i need to change them , plus you get virtually no brake dust on your wheels . 10% discount with CS membership . Same pads as the meganes .Search for part number R64276FG for the pads and R60139 for the discs ...

^^^^ I bought a 182 from motorpoint in February of this year . They told me that i only got 2 years warranty and no AA assistance . I rang Renault customer services and gave them my vin number . They told me that if it was intended for Cyprus or came from Holland you only got 1 years...

For one it depends on how clued up on the car you are if it was say an exhaust , some people wouldn't have a clue it was an upgrade or standard . Other things like a matched inlet manifold you wouldn't know , its not a visible mod , also with a remapped ecu or grp n ( 172/ 182's ) you'd have...
