Yeah they are the ones. Just trying to decided if I should refurb my ones or buy them. Any picture would help me gay an idea of what they would look like on a clio.
As above I'm looking at a set of megane 16" wheels, 10 spoke if there are different types. Anyone got a pic of them fitted to a ph2 Clio?
Also how do they compare weight wise to the standard sport wheels?
Yeah my k&n get so heat soaked, after a drive it's pretty hot to touch so can't be doing much for the car. Guess I will have to look out for a inlet pipe and get a pipercross filter
It would be interesting to know what the difference is scutch also are you using your standard pipe?
Laine, I have a standard airbox in the garage. Would be interested in the inlet pipe if you have one?

I am looking to refurb then paint my wheels as the have been scuffed a bit by the previous owner.
Can someone recommend a good alloy punty/filler? And the is halfords spray paint ok for wheels?
Just got the kit ang it's half complete great! Renault want over £30 for it!
Luckily my local motor shop is getting it tomorrow for £7. There is still hope I will make beaulieu Sunday :)
I did here they were the same when I was looking for parts. However I have ordered new pins etc and pads a I don't want to miss something again. Will bare in mind for the future though. I just hope everything comes before the weekend as I was hoping to go to beaulieu this Sunday
Well I must admit it was stupid of me not to notice the missing pin as have changed several brake pads before and they all had them. I thought maybe it was held in by the lug on the back of the pad.
Just glad I took it for a gentle test drive first as I wasn't 100 % sure. Got the new parts on...
Yeah your right, was just on the hope some one might have a mintex pad laying around.
I am still in shock how bad the back brakes were. 3pads, f**ked bearing and disc. Only went through a mot when I brought it in late march. And in the end sent me into a spin and motorway barrier a few weeks back!
Just a couple of questions. Firstly my rear caliper looks different to the one pictured. My bolts are at the back of the caliper when you take it off. Are they different from the 172 and 182? Secondly, a bit random but I know only have three pads. Does anyone have a spare pad they want to sell?
Well looking at the pic think mine is missing everything in the kit below. Assuming this is the correct kit for the 172?

I thought it was odd as there is always pins or clips on other cars I've had. But then I maybe I should have noticed as there was only one pad on one side to start with. Plus the disc was buggered and bearing was in pieces! Only noticed as it put me into a motorway barrier the other day...

I just fitted new rear discs and pads to my 172. Took it for a test drive and the pads fell out!
Nnow there were no pins on the old pads, are there meant to be pins or clips.
If not what did I do wrong? Is there a certain way of holding them in place?
Hi all. I have been having problems with my car over fueling mainly when the engine is cold. I have had it diagnosed at a garage and it showed injector 1 fault. I have brought a secondhand set of injector with rail, am I able to swap them over or is it not as simple as that.

My car has a weird problem when cold. its started off by feeling like the engine was braking, almost like i was driving with the handbrake on. this was mainly in first and second and went away when the car warmed up. now i have noticed in second it really hesitates around 3000 rpm bit...
renault main dealers can normally get them in same day if you go before 12. think there about £19.80. however i went to a local motor shop and got one for £9 off the shelf.
