Good old advert, on the way home Friday I saw a grey Megane 250 with the 19's. Looked gorgeous and had loads of road presence I thought!

Mine made pretty much smack on 150bhp at the wheels with a few breathing modfications.

Not really that bad, take the bad bits off and sell them to idiots and you'd have a pretty clean cup!

Might join you guys on this if I can source myself a good set of seats.

Yeah not bad for a high mileage engine, servicing regularly is the key I reckon! :) Cheers, won't be long til I'm there I reckon, a few trackdays and a ring trip this year will add a few k ;) 200,000's the next milestone for me! :)

Tbh it really isnt that bad! Rattle can the roof black and sell the plate to some young chav in essex for over the odds and that isn't bad car! Buckets/cage/wheels are worth some money, would always be getting your money back on that I reckon whether breaking it or selling as is!

Mine just ticked over 100k, no major problems but just bushes etc etc that have started wearing which I replaced. If its got a full renault service history and lots of receipts with 2 owners its sounds like an alright car but always double check everything! I'd say that it wouldn't be worth 3k...

Liking them! Maybe not as much grip as GSD3 Goodyears but there not worlds apart gripwise. I've done shed loads of hard miles (7500 maybe) on them and still have like 4mm of tread left! I run them at 30psi for normal driving, seen them rise to 34psi when I've driven it hard so think ill drop...

Only picked it up the other day, on the way home a dhl lorry overtook me on the M3, then proceeded to want the lane I was in and pushed me onto the grass and almost into the ditch! Amazingly its only a mirror that I need and hopefuly some light scratches on the door/wing can be pc'd out.

I must admit I quite like that and I really dont get on with LY! Some anthracite speedlines the colour of the front end/diffuser would look spot on!

Thats cool Fletch i'm not knocking what your organising as you know I love a good breakfast run also! But i'd want to keep it a small group as you then have an idea what some of the people drive like! As you'll remember last year on one of the runs with sketchy drivers!

Because it turns into a nightmare! As soon as a few people lag behind they start to drive faster to catch up/overtake the public and thats when accidents happen! I've been on a few runs and personally i'd cap it at 10 tops as even then its a lot of people to keep together.

Had a mk3 as my 1st car, always liked that shape astra. Looks very clean indeed though I think you need to source some standard wheels as they look like the aftermarket irmscher wheels.

SFS Hoses will sell one for cheaper than samco. Quality is just as good though you dont pay for the name with SFS.

Yeah i've heard of the Simota before, dont think much of it tbh. Its a bit like the ITG Maxogen.

Your telling me, I think its ludicrous! I guess its fashion over function for some people, unlike for ourselves! :)

If you think that then thats fair enough, but given the price of a maxogen (£250 second hand). I'd put money on the JMS kit to make a noticeable gain in power over the Maxogen.
