An angle grinder would be a massive help! I've gone through 3 grinding stones on one side ffs! If you've got the right tools and some patience, its easy! Lining everything up can be a ballache, but its not really difficult as such. Well worth doing though! They're awesome.

Slight update. Not got a lot done today, and I've found a worrying oil leak coming from between the engine and gearbox :S Also becoming more convinced it's a Tapper... Sounded like a MK3 fiesta for a good ten minutes whilst it warmed up, it'd also explain being slightly down on power. Hmmmm...
