Yey best colour!! - memories :D
Bit of a shitter it let go mate, but im sure you will turn it around pretty quick ;) this one going F/I?
Il have to come have a nosey at it once your in full swing
yes it could be fitted (if you search you will find lots on this subject) but bear in mind you will need:
Engine
Gearbox
ECU
Driveshafts
engine mounts
brakes
suspension
Plus a lot more, and at the end you will have spend more converting yours than you would have actually buying a proper...
A custom rolling road map would be by far superior mate, and yes the standard ECU is remappable, but being honest it's pretty basic and if you went for an aftermarket ECU the car should make a bit more power and should be nicer to drive too
I know dude, hindsight says I should have, for what I sold it for was just crazy - I still would have bought the Elise mind, just would have chucked a sheet over the Clio and come back to it.
Not making that mistake with Duf mind :D
Id not bother with a panel filter - I have tried both an ITG filter and standard Paper one, and swapped between the 2 for about 25,000 miles, with no difference found.
Testing my old ph1 on my friends rollers, there was only 1 bhp difference between having the pipes on or off - best was one pipe on one off lol, a plus to leaving them off is fantastic induction noise :)
Nope, my last ph1 had 140,000 miles on, made 193bhp and I ran 5w40 in it - remember the difference between 5w40 and 10w40 is the viscocity of the oil when cold - so the 5w40 is thinner when cold than the 10, so circulates better.
Any one of the main manufacturers are fine mate, K&N, ITG etc.
Though the main advantage would be that you can clean it, it won't offer any noticable gain over the standard element
