have a look at the seat belt buckle, is it hard up against the base of the seat, in other words pulled down as far as it goes to the base of the seat. then it is its deployed. if there is some clearance from the base to the buckle then its ok

check the connections are the same....maybe down to that. Make sure the pre-tensioners in the seats you have fitted have not deployed. If they have you may need to replace them. I know a way of fooling the airbag computer if they have and moneys tight, you just need a resitor from maplin;)...

try using a steamer they work a treat
