Yeah, could well be, as jay said I have yet to come across a noisey set. Try changing your oil just in case mate

They are not adjustable, they have hydrolic lifters, if yours are noisey then I suggest you get down to your local dealer to do them for you under warranty. They are not very easy to change, fairly involved jod, cambelt has to be removed, the rocker box also holds the cams in place etc etc...

Had a look at it today, clip showed up 2 faults 1.motorised throttle body 2.Accelerator Pedal potentiometer. Got parts on order for it, so hopefully will be all top notch soon:D

Oils like well expensive at reno, plus ya got loads of little extras and vodka an tonic(vat) to add to it all. Glad I do my own servicing etc....credit cards must be a godsend to pay for garage bills.

I have a similar one fitted to my clio, if its a clio phase one I think you might have problems with the tray, the gap between the dash and the tray will be a bit small imo. let us know how you get on

I had one today do this, it turned out to be a balance weight that had come loose on the rim. Probably a faulty driveshaft.

Check to make sure the track rod(steering arm) is not bent, they bend rather easy on clios, especially after a smack. Look carefully as its not that easy to spot if its only a little bit

I got a spare set, just upgraded my brakes. They aint new, they got 7000 miles worth of use on them, discs are in v.good condition and pads are about 35% worn. make me an offer for them, postage will be about 10.00 they are rather heavy
