If you squeez your hand in yo can hold the sidelight bulb holder and fit the new bulb with your other hand, all good fun
Check the wire on the back of the starter motor, you will have one big chunky one, and one small one.
Its the small one you need to check.
Pull in off and clean the contact, put it back on and test.
If you have a voltmeter check to see if you have around 12 volts with the key in the starting...
Pop down your local dealer they will supply a cat 1 upgrade for your car which will use your key to arm/disarm.
They are made by sigma or cobra, pretty good systems.
I might be able to get a part number for you if you need it.

Thats for a standard reno changer, but you should be able to modify it if needed

I have got uprated front brakes on mine, I still have the original discs and pads, they have plenty of life left in them only done 7000 miles.

Only if they have failed totally, easy to check just bounce on each side of your car and watch to see if your suspension feels ok and that it settles correctly.
Or the other reason could be that they knock badly or are very very rusty on the spring cup.

More than likely to be a faulty wiper stalk, try removing it from the car and spraying it as much as possible with electrical contact cleaner, then operate it a fair bit to get the cleaner into the switch.
Clean off all the excess cleaner with a bit of rag, then refit and test.
It might work...

The last one I sold was a one off, anymore that I order will be at a discount price less than 140 anyway, there has been a big demand for them so I will get a defo price for you all on cliosport and will also list them on my ebay shop.

Worked me lunch and fitted the new bits at last, WOW the car totally different to drive seems so much more responsive, idles lovely.
I was so suprised at the difference that a new throttle body and accel pedal has made.
Im happy now:D
I just finished the stuff I was doing, rite.....jay has pretty much covered it all, was going to check on the wiring diagrams I have on my pc the (VSIU) have had a look and I aint got the clio 2 phase 1 diagrams installed so will have a check tommorow for you.
