I was behind you on the motorway but then droped back to awnser the phone. To be fair the egg was doing well on the motorway for the 1.2 8v I slowed down to about 80 and got left considerably.

Was an awsome meet. Was gutted I couldn't go krispy kreams, had to pick my lil bro up because my mum was running late got a phone call on the motorway so I had to head back. You lot where f**king flying though, saw that inferno meggy doing considerably over 100 chocolate buttons. Big thanks...

I've seen a supercharged 1.4 16v on a forum somewhere in europe that was making 165bhp, absolute weapon tbh. From a N/A 1.4 16v you wouldn't get 158bhp without major mods although its basically a K4M engine from the 1.6 16v and these are used in the super 1600's which are good for 200bhp...

Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project lol did a good job on those valves jord bend as a £50 note. Glad you've decided to rig it up. You have nothing to lose so you may aswell have a runabout untill you can properly repair/source a new engine. Will you be going to JP Exhausts still?

Tbh mate, fast cars arnt the wisest idea whilst your at uni, how did you ever afford to run it. If i was you i'd get something small cheap to fun but still fun. What about a valver, or as above a vts tpft insurance isnt a lot on them usually.

Sounds like an electrical problem with the climate etc going wrong aswell. My washers went a bit wrong when the liquid froze, the motor wasnt working. I just turned the car off and back on again and it was fixed. Winner.

^^^ Waste of time on a 1.2 tbh mate. Much better doing some suspension mods etc.

Well clio's do have an oil ok thing when you put the ignition on, if it doesnt come on then you have a problem and you sort it out before driving.....

Gutted mate :( I'm sure the new little one will be more than worth giving up the cup for. Maybe a remap will put a bit more of a smile on your face? Circa 180bhp then and a bucket load of torque.

I can understand stuff wears out but 3 gearbox's what the hell are you doing to them mate? Gutted about the keys though. I wouldn't ever buy any vehicle with only 1 key tbh. Hope its sorted soon.

Maybe you have an issue with your thermostat. As above check the temperature guage.

Thats becuase its off a trader not amazon its self. I know the D40 is in short supply. Luckily I ordered mine early enough.

Hmm either something has broken and give way or someone has damaged it.

I had to make this choice between the d1000 and the D40. In the end I got the D40, Case and 4gb Extreme performance SD card for £244 from amazon. Only getting it for xmas though so can't comment on using it. I made the choice because it was far cheaper than the d1000 and the d1000 got reviews...

I've had my abs on a lot lately on ungritted side streets in the ice. Tbh most of it is becuase I wasn't used to driving on ice because i'm in expereinced. Just got to get on the brakes early and not too hard. Never had the abs on in normal conditions inc heavy rain. Imo if your having the abs...
