Well, small update - I've purchased a Decat for £30 which is pretty good going, I'd say. I'm also going to change the tailpipe to some 2.25" stainless steel pipe when I get the chance, as the Magnex looks garbage IMO. And if it's still really boomy with the decat, the back box is getting chopped...

On a 1.2, neither will make Any difference what so ever to performance, as you say. If it's sound you're after, get a cone. I wouldn't add to a higher performance engine, but on a 1.2 it'll give you what you're after. Have a search on eBay - I ended up landing a fairly new PiperX Viper for £25...

Nice Rallye! I would definitely have another 106 if I needed to downsize. Awesome cars! Lumpy idle is just part of the character... My GTi was slightly lumpy, but only cut out once or twice - and it always fired up again straight afterwards, so it wasn't a problem.

I want 4 cars from that list and that costs more than the f**king pack. What was the point in Pre-ordering in the first place FFS?!
