Had a family day out at Lepe Beach and parked in the public car park near the Beach. Good opportunity for some photos. my son was parked next to me as he drove my Riley Elf there. Stood on the cliff for a while and watched people walking by the cars. Guess which one had most people looking at...

Started with 400 grit wet and dry, then 800 grit and final of 1200 grit to get round of small scratches and then final wet 1200. All of these were by hand. Then polished with dremel with polishing attachment and rubbing compound. Final polish with solvol autosol. I guess it took about 4 hours.

Used to do 1500 miles a month, now I do about 350. Have done 3k in nine months of owning car.

Went for the legal font, size and spacing myself, just liked the look of those pressed plates. Bought mine off Europl8 on Ebay and needed some new plates for the personal registration. This worked out cheaper than going to Halfrauds anyway.

Seen trailer loads going to the docks. Hope that they export all of them, not a nice looking car at all. Could never match the original and only Mini.
