For f***s sake there are some sad people out there. I'm moving on and selling up some models that I used to collect. I listed this one as a Cortina 1600E and got a message from someone to tell me that this was not in fact a 1600E...
Dave's painting my engine cover something special at the moment, waiting for the final result but it will be different than anything I've seen on here. Tim is working for Triangle sprays out in Cadnam now, so is now a mainstream Mercedes Benz sprayer. He misses the custom work but still dabbles...
Welcome back, remember seeing your Clio and the Meggy at Customise Perfection when my son Tim worked there. he persuaded me to buy the 182 but Customise had gone before I could have any work done on it. Looking forward to seeing the R27. Liquid Yellow is my fave colour. Are you keeping the...
Having seen this car in the flesh at FCS it really is a first class job and Rich should be proud of it. Anyone breaking from the normal Cliosport gets a slating on here. Keep with it Rich and instal the 2.0 litre.
If I remember rightly the guy wanted a Williams. But its still a 1.4 four door at the end of the day. Do you think he'll throw in a DVD of the programme or even a Westwood CD?
Way over priced!!!
These are loose and not boxed but are good quality and value. Bought an Inferno 182 from him and sprayed it silver. Waited about two weeks for it though.
Extra Stability Programming, its a combination of traction Control and ABS. It senses when a wheel is losing traction and lowers the engine revs accordingly. Always drive with mine on otherwise I'd have bought a CUP. It's a much better system than the Ford one I had on my Focus which applied the...
For that price you've got nothing to lose. Let us know if they are any good. My son had them on his Megane and has fitted them to his Polo. He 'll not go back to conventional wipers.
Didn't get to talk to many people but it was a great day. Rockingham was agreat venue and the entertainment was better than many other shows I've been to. Like everyone else the Commentator was naff, shame the Jet Pack man didn't land on him.
The massed ranks of Clios, was going to put this in...
I agree with Andyman, you are looking at hours and hours of effort if you haven't got the right tools and a clue of the finish you are looking for. I wish I'd never started with mine or at least not started without knowing what the weateher would be like and how long it took for my fingers to...
I drive a Fiat Ullysse and Renault Savannah diesel at work and appreciate the Clio every time I drive home. I have just got my classic Riley Elf back on the road and can feel the difference 40 years of car development mean. Braking, engine power and roadholding. The Elf really teaches you how...
Had similar problems with these tossers and had to open a dispute with them to get my money back, When I left negative feedback, received negative feedback that I was not to be trusted. Complained to Ebay who advised that I withdraw my feedback with mutual consent. Why should I? so left comment...
Those Schmitts are the business, might have to go to a 16" though on a 172/182 because of the size of the brake calipers. Stretched tyres are awesome as well. This is a really well executed euro'd Clio. Know which direction to go in next.
Looks like we need to start a thread for us South Central people travelling up on Sunday. Looks like it will have to be early. I'll start a thread in Meetings.
Don't spot many of these so was surprised to see one in Shirley High Street heading for town at 8.45 am and the other on Thomas Lewis Way at about 10.40 am.
Missed it this year for the first time in four years. Normally go on a saturday so quite glad that I missed it due to the weather. The rally stage is great and some of them really go for it. Great pics by the way.
Theo, got the bra from www.autobra.co.uk, only £65.00.
Chapers, it was about 7.50 am when I saw the black 172'
Chris, Monaco blue is a dark blue isn't it, this was a lighter blue.
Mine was a present from my wife and son for my birthday, so is personal to me and not the car, meaning I'll keep it when the car goes. Couldn't find a plate to cover my name and a lot of people use my initials PJ so thought this fitted well. 'N' has no significance.
