Okay so to answer your question Toms_clio, I THINK, the key difference between the DAS6 and the DAS6 Pro is more torque. Which means itll bite more and have more power. Basically, on the G220 and I assume the DAS6 too, when you push down hard on the machine it will stop spinning, but continue...
No I dont really comment on DW tbh. Im still waiting for the Swissvax brush to come back in stock. I have a short Vikan for the faces but need a longer thinner bruch like the megs to get in at the backs. Cheers.
Youll probably get better results with a DA too, its a lot safer and easier to use and control where as a rotary likes to do what it wants, rotary is also heavier. Rotary takes some getting used to and its pretty easy to warp pannels from heat and take the edges off paint. Where as you can...

Good lad, I like your style.
I was reading through your winter protection detail on DW and saw your inner wheel brush, what was it exactly? Ive broken my second EZ brush now and im sick of the flimzy design. Is there soemthing more substantial?
yeah youre right. I dont take care of my car properly though. 1BM and all that.
Ive had the megs before and they rot pretty quickly I find. Nice mitts though. The sonus was the worst. Halfords is the longest lasting one ive used ever.
Want to try the Eurow. JD what do you think of the eurow...
Had some H&R Monotube coilovers fitted about 10,000 miles ago. I wondered if, apart from yearly allignments, there was anything I should check on, or have done to them...?
Do they even need maintaining? Its only a road car.
What kind of bucket are you using? A coke can?
Hardly drains bucket, dip, remove some of the liquid if its that bad. I find myself dipping far more with smaller mitts than I do with the wookie.
Re: What have you ordered?
Some synthetic detailers add protection and whats the point. That said last touch still adds a bit of wax apparantly. I dont know if that last piece of advice was aimed at me or not but generally i spray down the pannel and clay block, clay the pannel then wip eover...
Re: What have you ordered?
Yeah, itll leave you with fairly clean paintwork. im sure gally and JD will back me up with what ive said.
Wonder if you should look into ONR (optimum no rinse) shampoo then. Id book yourself 2 days off to do it and start early. Wash, dry, clay, make sure its dry...
Re: What have you ordered?
I would only use a glaze for filling swirls but your right they do look good. Id sooner lay down a good strong sealant and then top it off with a wax. especially after a full machine polish.
If your paintwork is covered in bonded contaminates which it will be then...
Re: What have you ordered?
Gally - I love the vikan, got the short version of yours. I couldnt get a brush under my arches if i tried. See below....
Stu - On my GT's paintwork Power finish and the green hex logic pad was sufficient for 1 hit correction although the defects were limited, in...

Depends what for.
Eurow Shag for removing wax.
Sealants/glazes ill use the yellow eurow detailer choice ones, you can pick them up in packs of something like 30 for 20 quid at macro.
Work ones, for polishing exhausts or doing other dirty work ill use anything i can get hold of. Homebase do 3...
