Well if they offered me a free exhaust Id think about making the long trip. But I wouldnt want it very loud and Id want to keep the origional tail pipes.
Yeah
Funny you should mention 5mm spacers. ive got some of those to try too. If i run negative camber though im not sure 5mm be enough so i try 20mm.
I have 20mm at rear remember.
Needs negative camber.
Im getting the old girl setup tomorrow, also, trying out 20mm spacers again. With spacers the car looks horrid as it currently is but im hoping nagative camber will allow for 20mm spacers without it looking completely retarded.
Lowed clio = suspension warranty and related items voided I asked this before I had it done. I also spoke to a dealer and told them my situation and they said there would be no problem in having it replaced as the gearbox is nothing to do with suspension. I don't drive like a chav in a saxo no...
Cars slammed, wondering if the gearbox could have become damaged from hitting speedbumps.
Or am I being a prize r****d because the sump guard protects it??
Goot the old beast booked in at Renault for warranty work and itll be £270 just to strip the bugger down if its not covered by warranty...
Re: What have you ordered?
What do you make of the Swissvax one then Gally?
I had a right corker lying about, soft brissles and lots of them spread out in such a way that it was perfect for cleaning wheels. Ive lost it and have since been using espuma and a noodle mitt.
Mines utterly shite.
Usually i get 375 miles to a tank and thats not even motorway. I know its bad in the winter but im lucky to see 300. last month i got 250 miles and that was taking it easy.
Engine changes at 5000 miles as in it will open up a little more. got very flat power delivery after about 5000rpm. It will shift but its nothing to shout about. Good for country blasts. get it on coilovers ! Got no bloody torque what so ever. Youll notice just how bad it is when a 1.2 petrol...
The good one. Like in the MK2 you had poverty spec CD [player and then the cabasse one which iirc, had a better wattage too.
Wondered if the upper class unit found in the MK3 (part of the bluetooth and reach adjustable steering column pack iirc) included DAB digital radio. Want to buy a new...
20 per wheel on the back. I have another set of 20mm spacers but theyre too much for the fronts. have some 5mm on order with some camber bolts hopefully arriving next week.
My gearbox is fucked. There are certain parts of the car which i dislike. Like most of it.
Im 50/50 on it mate dont know...
Is the 8v engine similar to the 16v
I had a problem with my 1.2 16v (2001) where a loos metal box cover thing had rubbed away at the wiring loom, situated at the back of the engine and had the same problem. Some electrical tape to stop the loom shorting was all that was needed.
While ive heard this reccomendation passed about a few times and i know its a serious reccomendation. Does it actually remove a sealant like 476s? Not hide it.
What is the best product to remove marks on vynal bumper strips. Theres some 476s on my strips form when I first got the car and needed to seal it up quickly. Wondering what the most effective way to remove it would be so i can clean them up and seal them with trim stuff.
Ive not got super...
I have a feeling the 918 will shape Porsches to come. Its like they knew the 996 headlights were an epic fail, went back to how it should have been with the 997, and now theyre having another stab at it.
V12's are fantastic, had them on 2 weeks now and ive been playing with tyre pressures since. Running 33 front and 31 rear, the grip is insane now ive got the pressures right. Quiet and the tyre walls look good too. Id strongly suggest you go for V12's for road use.
Any interior shampoo or a good APC that doesnt damage colours. Vax carpet shampoo, meguairs APC, Autoglym Interior Shampoo (halfrauds stockit, on of my favorites)
<3 the numatic. proper bad ass hoover, easily the best car related thing I use.
Do you measure tyre pressures hot or cold. I had 32.5 psi cold in the other day. Want to add another .5psi in the tyres, and today after having a few traffic light GP's, and racing across carparks deciding I actually need NOS (the big can iirc), im reading 36psi or so.
Wondering what you do...
I dont think we have those issues here in the UK, sounds like a bit of a problem then. I have a similar driving style.
Eagle F1 (GSD3) were good, however, they are now manufactured by another company and they are not the same anymore, I have heard the new ones are not as good as they were. Is...
Can you consider 205/45/16 ?
This may give you a bigger range of tyres tho look from.
I moved from a set of Pilot Primacy's (195.50.16) which were pretty hard, to a set of Hankook V12 Evo's (205.45.16) 2 weeks ago. They are pretty good. Just had my first dry road blast with them today and they...
