Re: What have you ordered?
Thats how remember it, ive shaken it well and while it made a slight difference the last 2 tubs ive had have been fairly runny.
Re: What have you ordered?
Was Shampoo plus always watery? I used it about 5 years ago for a long time and then went round the block for 2-3 years testing other shampoos like duragloss etc. Gone back to shampoo plus & BTBM as my main 2 and it just seems so runny. I seem to remember it being...
That a joke?
If not, then yeah, Z2, Z5 and AIO can be used on wheels and paintwork. However, I wouldnt use any of the 3 without ZFX. Expensive maybe but long lasting, great sheeting, good beading and good looks are all part of it with ZFX's Z5/2/AIO. Youll get a fair amount out of a bottle too...
Not the JC5.
The JC5's ive driven (or used) werent THAT bad really. I mean it was no BMW or Honda but by all means it was more than operable but like people say not for rushing.
If you want to experience a bad gearbox, try using the TL4 from the 197 or Clio GT, now that is s**t, my synchro...
Nice, we had the estate SE model and it was reet (320d) before we sold it a few weeks ago. Nice fluid gearbox &clutch and a fair decent amount of pull, heavy steering rack though. Msport interior looks good, love the colour. Looks like youve got a tidy example.
DO IT.
Those wheels only though. Tyres will be a killer surely?!
However yours is a white transit van (jokes) and it may not look as good as it does with nob head green.
Only the suspension related items, ball joints etc.
If your gearbox went for example you shouldnt have any issue. Mind you ive got mine booked in for gearbox repair beginning of next month and ill be surprised if they dpont give me some bullshit excuse.
No its ok, I paid someone to do it locally and set it up on a hunter system. Your 2.5 hours away, which I might consider. Ill see how it goes and if I find I want it doing by someone who knows what they are doing then ill give you a bell.
:)
Yeah I agree, I wont be keeping the car more than 3-4 years hopefully (Want a new FRS end of next year) so ive got paint to play with. Ive owned it since new and its been polished once (59 plate), its getting done next month I think. Yet at the same time it gets stripped down on a fairly regular...
Been detailing for about 5 years mate (big wow), Im well aware of what the bucket looks like when im nearly done, and what clear water 2nd buckets look like. Just cant be fucked these days, i know I should. Paint levels go down? I dont understand what your trying to say. My car remains protected...
Yeah tell me about it, to begin with we set the camber bolts as far as they would go, could see the weel moving, set it back down and it was still positive camber.
Ive got 20mm spacers on each wheel too so was expecting even more.
I made them get it back up and have another crack, loosening...
f**k off.
The whole reason I bought the GT was to save money and not skint myself for the sake of a car (a clio at that), so far ive achieved that. I needed the cars geometry set up as I had it put on coilovers so I figured why the hell not. What was I supposed to do, run around with positive...
I just use one bucket, If the mitt gets dirty I blast it with the pressure washer.
Cant be arsed with 2 buckets. The car is machine polished once a year and its an easy job as the swirls are very minor when it comes to it.
Why the hell people spend this much money on stuff like this I have...
What would you reccomend for a fast road setup for a GT on coilovers?
-1.5deg of front camber, -1Deg rear camber, and the remaining settings from a clio 200?
s**te ok ill sort that out tomorrow then. Cheers.
Actually the bolt does face the rear, but the order is as follows, from looking at the drivers side, right to left.
Bolt, big spacer, strut, small washer, nut.
Still NEED to change it round or wont it make the slightest bit of difference?????
Urgh. Mines facing to the front. Does that matter or can I still achieve correction. Mike@rentech told me it makes no difference. However, my spacer block and washer are at opposite ends to that in the photo. Am I going to have to take it out and swap the block and washer around?
this is how...
Ok ill ask you here.
Quick question im hoping youll be able to answer. Had some H&R camber bolts fitted today, setup is tomorrow.
Im not sure if this matters, but which side of the strut does the spacer block need to be? Facing the front of the car, or the rear. Or doesnt it make any...
Clear your fecking PM's! I know your allergic to PM's, have a quick question that should be simple to answer and I doubt youll be at work at this hour.
Someone please help. Maybe I'm asking the wrong question. I want to add negative camber to the front wheels, the triple C h&r bolts replaced the upper of the two bolts on the strut. I know you have to rotate the bolt one way or another to achieve negative or positive camber but I'm not sure...
I think if you have a proper fucked engine and it needs a good clean then REDEX might be a good once or twice off.
Id never use it all the time. Id prefer to run it on Vpower for the rest of its life than use that.
So I manned up and had my spacers and camber bolts fitted this morning.
Tomorrow im having it setup on a hunter system and I was thikning, apart from camber (as im having that as -1.5 each wheel), should I set up the other things (Toe, caster etc) to the same settings on a clio 200. I mean why...
