Order them delivered to your house and pay a local garage to fit them. I had mine fitted for £60 but thats thanks to a very good mate. He also got a little extra for it too in the form of 24 cans of beer!
Personally, I think you should sell it and rspray the front and and bonnet. If not, spray the CF bonnet Racing blue, and fit it. I agree with the whole clean look thing and I think yours looks great, IMO you'd ruin what is already a clean and mint example. But its your car........
Thing is right now, I couldnt do any of that without going on google and reminding myself how to do it, ive done things like that before various times but things just dont stick especially when your trying to learn so many things at once. I know I need to start at the bottom making coffee, and...
Did you get the bolts for the fronts?
What suspension do you have, I dont think it really matters - H&R Triple C bolts for instance are (I think) designed to fit any MacPherson design. You need to measure the width of the bracket and the existing bolt width and then decide upon which...
I use Espuma to clean the grease of the chicken pan.
Megs glass cleaner for marble surface and glass.
Detailing sprays to remove finger marks off the Neff microwave front (stainless steel brushed effect)
I know the feeling. I had my toe sorted out and left the camber while I ordered some bolts. Pisses me right off when I either drive in a straight line or take a corner, its just not right and its a constant irritation. HOPEFULLY getting new camber bolts next week, so ill have a setup done...
f**k getting one on PCB or whatever that £200 a month finance deal was. Cash FTW.
LOL at the gearbox being awesome. If you used it like a manual BMW gearbox, it would break.
Oh hai.
Ordering some 5mm spacers & camber bolts as soon as I get an answer to this question.
I need longer bolts (Want longer bolts), will the bolts that are in my wheel right now be exactly the same as the ones that are in my locking wheel nut box? - I need to take measurements.
/saves...
Doubt it, allignment gets knocked out pure and simple, just needs to be re alligned and while its been done you need to repeatedly ask them to centre your steering wheel and make sure they understand that if it isnt straight youll be back immediately they MIGHT get it right first time. Like I...
Id say your tacking is fine, youll have go to get it done again but this time make sure your steering wheel is where you want it while its been done. Ive got the same problem. Steering was out to the right, went to get tracking done and the steering was still out but this time to the left...
PMSL, I had a look at the new Pocus RS tyre price. I nearly shat myself!!! Heres me thinking I can run one in 2 year time.
Just had some V12's fitted on my GT, much quieter than the Pilot Primacys i had on, went for a wider 205.45.16 profile. They grip really well, but seem to let go sooner...
Mever really liked that that much, a little boring I thought. They seemed to spend (half life 2 here) a lot of time developing an engine, which really wasnt that great, and then rushed the story line. Half life 1 was much the same although I didnt play it until well after its release.
Had new tyres fitted thursday and I think I've done about 50 miles on them since. Starting to push them to see what they can do, but they seem very slippy at the moment, car even seems to over steer with little effort. How long am I looking at to get them run in?
I am CCNA certified (not that that means s**t) and ill be taking the CCNP ROUTE this summer, I have just finished studying SWITCH but intend to get ROUTE out the way with first, as thats the real big boy. I will pass it, even if it takes 4 times. Other than that not much experience lol. I will...
What do you run V12's at?
mine are 32psi all round, I ran more than that in my fronts with the Pilots i had on. There seems to be more sway in the fronts now ive got V12's.
I really want to try the new Eagle F1 asymmetric, apparantly the GSD3's are a bit crap now they are being manufactured with another company and the F1 asymmetric's are supposed to be great. There were some in the garage along with some F1 GSD3's.
Well had mine on since yesterday, theyre new tyres (obv) and the roads have been damp, yet they grip better - far far better. Car feels more stable, more planted round corners, less juddering through the steering column when cornering. Not ragged them yet obviously, but as they are at the...
I need to measure the bolt on my suspension doobry so i can fit camber bolts. This picture shows the one I mean.
There is/was a PDF about the exact measurements needed to take so i could order the correct ones (There are 3 diffrerent ones iirc) but I cant seem to find it now.
Could...
Go to Garage (who have had a week to order and get them in stock) and they dont have them in. Said theyd ring me if they had any trouble. Would be in for thursday just turn up sort of thing. FECK. Im f**king busy now and if they dont get them in by tomorrow im going elsewhere.
I am dissapoint.
