The clearer of the 2 photos is the passenger front. Which is where the bumping is coming from. The 2nd blurry photo is the driver front. Comparing the two, I think the boot on the passenger side looks a little flatter, no grease leaking out of it though. I guess ill have to jack it up and take a...
Warm would be me and gally, in bed.
No io jst think that glasur looks a bit blingy. Where as best of show doesnt. It just give s a nice rich warm look.
Cheers pal.
Might invest in some. Does it have a warm look to it like BOS?
Dont really like the blingy look of Carbon or Glasur for instance on my car.
Do you like Saphir/Onyx?
Almost out of BOS now and no way am I shelling out £160 for BOS unless my local SW detailer can do me ait on the cheap.
I like to wax regularly too. So theres not much point in BOS for me really as it lasts 6 months.
Youre right, I didnt. I never said how s**t certain sealants were, just that Aquartz was s**t. I just stated that these high end long lasting sealants were more for durability rather than fast sheeting and beading. It was a pig to use and didnt give the results I expected. I was wrong and made a...
Oh and BTW.
At low speeds theres a knocking I can hear.
Say im going in a straight line, I can hear a bumping sound, its faint, but enough to piss me off. Not sure if Its suspension related as if im going down a smooth road I can hear it.
They did and I recall it was fine, but since had the coilovers up and down.
The shaking was there before it was ever set up though.
Ill look into this. Still got a "free health checkup" at renault so might ask them to have a look at this. IM guessing itll be an expensive job then?
Nice. Any easy way of checking?
Someone mentioned trackrods and ball joints.
Ive still to get the geometry setup again as I rased it back up. It couldnt be something as simple as tyre pressures or geometry could it? My coilovers appear to be fine. Although they have taken a hammering over...
At about 60 ish, and it goes away at 80.
Shaking through the steering column. I seem to remember it starting when the snow was here, maybe I hit a pothole and buckled the wheel or maybe my suspension is fucked?
Also, my car pulls to the left.
Car is on coilovers. Still did it after having...
Look all im saying is, id much rather have tight beading and decent sheeting from a wax which would last 1 few months than slow sheeting and non existant beading from nanolex which lasts the best part of a year if not longer.
Gayquartz was a f**king shambles though. Atleast nanolex sheeted to...
I think all these ega durable sealants like nanolex, Gtechnique and Aquartz are ment to last a long time, not provide tight beading and uber fast sheeting.
I was so unimpressed with Aquartz I eneded up topping the cars i used it on up with M135 detailing spray after every 2nd wash.
Nanolex...
Just wondering what you protect them with.
I use Megs 135. Usually 1 application every 2nd wash. Lasts well and is glossy as f**k. Got to be the biggest piece of piss for a product, easy to apply, lasts a good month if not more, looks glossy. B, Makes washing and drying easy for me, beads well...
I had a set of waffle Souns der wunders for about a year. My car was black. I had to pat dry all the time and it was a PITA as if i wiped the pannels then it would marr f**k out of them.
